Rainbow Art is a blog about professional art education in Spain. The target audience is the English-speaking international community living and working in Spain. It will feature art, culture and news related to art in Spain. It will also feature workshops, events, exhibitions and job opportunities for artists in Spain.

The blog will be written by students from different nationalities with varying levels of English proficiency. Most of them are young people who are in the process of learning English as a foreign language and need to practice every day. They will post original texts on various topics relevant to their lives as art students in Madrid, Barcelona or Granada (as part of the Erasmus programme). There will be a section with images that they can write on top of (such as an image of Picasso’s Guernica). This makes it easier for VO artist to ad lib into the template without having to learn any Spanish.

”Rainbow Art” has been designed to fit the needs of professionals in the art business, who want to share their experience and knowledge with other professionals.

The blog will be kept very fresh with news items and posts about art education in Spain and abroad.

The blog will be a forum for people who want to share their experiences about professional art education in different countries.

The blog includes an online catalogue of creative workshops which can be booked directly from the website.

I am offering workshops in creative writing, photography, visual art and music. My blog is as a result of my work with children/teenagers/adults and my love for the arts. I love to share my experiences and knowledge with others. If you are looking for workshops or want to hear about our latest courses please contact us:

Rainbow Art Blog

This is a Rainbow Art blog mostly focused in a lot of workshops and activities on art education we give at our Art Center near Barcelona. It is a personal blog, with some information about myself and my teaching experiences.

We make art classes to children and adults, working as a team with other teachers. Our main intention is to develop creativity trough art, playing and fun. We have taken over 1000 students from more than 20 countries around the world. We also have active social networks to share ideas and news related with arts and crafts….

I have been in Spain for the past few weeks, my first trip to this country and I am loving every minute of it. I am here with a group of teachers from London, we are all creatives. We are currently in Madrid, but will be heading to Toledo today for a workshop tomorrow. It’s been such an interesting experience so far; I am running workshops on creative writing with ENB and the teachers have been great. They have just finished working with young people from local schools who have been learning about poetry, art, film and music.

Toledo is a beautiful city; there is lots to see, I can’t wait to get into the workshop tomorrow and get started!

I shall keep you updated as much as possible….

You can have a lot of fun with art, but it’s important to remember that art is not just about fun. Art also has expressive value. Art can help you express your feelings, or the world around you.

Art is also often used to commemorate events in history. The 9/11 memorial is a great example of this. In order for art to be able to do this sort of thing effectively, it needs to be more than just fun. For example, when you want to commemorate the loss of lives in a tragedy like 9/11, you might feel compelled to do something about it. This does not mean you are unable to express yourself through art.* It simply means that you are using your creativity and artistic talents to capture your feelings on a subject that has personal meaning for you.*

Creativity has no boundaries and there is no place where it cannot be applied.* If you remember this fact, then being creative will be easier.* Creative people are often natural perfectionists, so if you are a perfectionist try not to get too caught up on details.* Remember that any mistakes or flaws in your work have their own potential creative value.* A mistake or flaw can lead you down a path that may be even more interesting than the path that would have
