Unity 3D is a cross-platform game engine. It allows you to create games once and then port them to multiple platforms. Unity comes with an integrated development environment (IDE) that makes it quick and easy to create games, and a flexible Asset Store where you can buy and sell content created by other Unity users.

Unity 3D is a great solution for indie game developers as well as larger studios looking for a unified technology platform that can target multiple mobile, console, desktop, VR/AR, and web platforms.

Unity 3D is used by many AAA studios as well as indie developers. Unity makes it easy to create high-quality games, deploy them across multiple platforms, and integrate with industry-leading tools and services.

Over the last few years we have been collecting a lot of tips, tricks and best practices for making games in Unity 3D. Because there is so much valuable content that has not been published yet, we decided to write a book and share our experience with you.

This book covers a wide range of topics from creating characters to artificial intelligence, from optimizing your game to using ready-made assets. We’ve also included an overview of the most popular features available in the latest version of Unity 3D.

Unity is a powerful, popular game engine that has gained considerable developer, business and investor support. It’s used in a variety of genres by thousands of studios worldwide. Unity 3D is rapidly becoming the engine of choice for developers who want to create video games and other interactive content for all popular platforms, including PC, consoles, mobile devices and websites.

Toward the end of 2008, we started work on our first book: “Unity 3D By Example”. The idea was to demonstrate the power and versatility of Unity by creating twelve different games while teaching you the different aspects necessary to master Unity. We wrote this book because we love Unity, but also because we know that getting into it can be an expensive and time-consuming endeavor. We’ve seen many people struggle with Unity’s documentation or get frustrated when they tried to learn from tutorials; often times these people then gave up on Unity altogether. The book was an attempt to help people overcome these hurdles as well as provide them with a quick reference for using the most important features of Unity.

At the same time we were working on “Unity 3D By Example”, we received requests from users asking us to show them how to build more complex games in Unity so they could apply the skills they learned in our book. At

The book covers the fundamentals of Unity and 3D game development with almost 300 pages of content including:

*How to set up and organize your project in Unity3D with an introduction to the core concepts;

*How to create 2D and 3D games, from beginner to advanced levels;

*Scripting for both 2D and 3D games using C

Unity is a powerful and flexible game engine. It is also a very popular engine with many users. There are a lot of books on Unity out there but none that focus on the design guidelines, patterns, and architecture behind it. So we decided to write one!

This book is written by developers who have been working with Unity for years. The authors have been involved in the development of the engine itself. We have all been contributing to the design and architecture of the engine and we have seen first hand how it has evolved over time. This book will help you leverage this experience to write better games faster with fewer bugs.
