What’s here for me? If you’re new to steampunk art, a blog about steampunk art, its history and how it is made. If you’re an artist who wants to learn more about the subject, or you’re just curious about what people are doing with this art form.

What about steampunk art that combines elements from different times and places, or draws upon alternate history narratives? What about art that blends the aesthetics of different eras, such as the post-apocalyptic steampunk style? Are these still considered steampunk art?”

The Steampunk Art Show is a group of artists who create art inspired by the Steampunk genre. The goal of this blog is to promote the artists, their work and the movement.

The Steampunk Art Show is a traveling show that has been touring the United States since 2006. This blog features artwork from each exhibition as well as art created independently by its members.

The Steampunk genre is a type of science fiction that incorporates technology yet to be invented by the author, with a Victorian-era setting. The authors can range from the classic Victorian style of Jules Verne and H.G. Wells to more modern contemporary settings that still have that retro-Victorian feel.

The word “steampunk” came from a combination of “punk” and “steam.” The term was derived from a mailing list in 1993, called “Steampunk”. It is widely used in literature and art for many different types of works, including books, movies and even video games.

The Amazing Artwork of Steampunk: This site showcases over 100 pieces of marvelous steampunk art by various artists, some well-known and some new to the scene. Come see what makes this genre so fascinating! One of the most popular sections is the “Steamgirls” section which features artwork of beautiful women dressed in corsets and mini-skirts while they hold onto their umbrellas on a rainy day. There are also many pieces featuring various forms of machinery such as planes and cars that are heavily influenced by the era of the industrial revolution.

You’ll find a lot of information on how to get started, what materials and tools you need, different techniques and processes, helpful tips and advice. I also write about my own artwork as much as possible.
