I’m currently writing about the restoration of a ’68 Mustang that was in a terrible accident. It had been rear-ended, which pushed its body into the engine compartment, where it took out several other cars on Interstate 5 in California. After the accident, the car sat for months until I purchased it to do a restoration.

The car’s previous owner made several attempts at painting the car with a paint gun and spray bottles, but it wasn’t even close to being done. The color didn’t match and it looked more like graffiti than a professional paint job. So I basically stripped everything down to the bare body, and now I’m starting fresh with a new color scheme.
