The subject in the photograph above was taken on a bright sunny day, but I was still able to create this effect using a polarizing lens filter. The water is not actually white, it is just reflecting the sky. I don’t think this would have been possible without the use of my filter. It made the photo look like it could have been taken on an overcast day. I am also using this lens filter for some of my other photos as well for more effects in my photographs.
