Hi everyone,

I’m the owner of this blog. I’ve been modeling for almost 8 years now, and I do it full time. I’ve done a lot of different kinds of modeling, and worked with some really great photographers. I’ve also done lots of different kinds of art modeling such as live body painting, performance art, and fire spinning.

Thing is there are a lot of questions that people ask me again and again, so I decided to make a blog to answer some of those questions. I’ll be adding more as time goes on.

I also want you all to know that if you’d like to get in touch with me about anything art modeling related, I’m all ears! If you have any questions, comments, concerns or just want to introduce yourself, please feel free to Contact Me

Being an art model for a painter is one of the most rewarding and challenging positions in the art world. As an art model, you provide inspiration to the artist, who then reflects what he sees through his own creative process. It is a collaborative effort where both the model and painter must work together to create a piece of art that will be beautiful and unique.

The word “model” is used to describe someone who poses for an artist or sculptor. This may seem like a glamorous career, but it can actually be very challenging, due to the hours spent sitting on a hard wooden posing stand.

Although many people think that art models are only needed for life drawing classes or live figure drawing sessions, there are other uses for models as well. Sculpting requires different angles and views than what you see with life drawing class poses. Many artists also paint from photos of their models, which can be as profitable as posing live.

The process of becoming an art model varies from artist to artist and school to school. Some artists want you to pose for them privately; this works best if you already know the artist or are introduced by someone he knows and trusts. Other artists prefer that you sign up with a local modeling agency that provides models for painters at all levels

Most artists prefer to work from nude models because they are better able to capture three dimensions of the body in its posture and movement. Most artists also work from life and in person so that they can study the model’s natural body movements.

I don’t want to be a model, how do I stop this?
