Her parents, both artists themselves, encouraged her to express herself creatively. As a result, Kastelic began taking art classes at a young age and eventually became involved with the Sonoran Arts League. She attended Cactus Shadows High School, where she was exposed to various art forms and techniques. Her instructors at the Sonoran Arts League were professional artists who instilled in her a passion for art and encouraged her to explore her creativity.*

    After high school, Kastelic pursued a degree in fine arts from the University of Arizona. During her time at the university, she honed her skills in various mediums, including painting, drawing, and sculpture. Her education provided her with a solid foundation in the principles of art and helped her develop a unique style. She was particularly drawn to the works of artists such as Georgia O’Keeffe and Frida Kahlo, whose bold and expressive styles inspired her own artistic journey.

    He then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education at Northern Arizona University.
