    Kourtney Hay’s big break came when her work was featured in a prominent art gallery in New York City. The gallery’s owner, impressed by her talent, offered her a solo exhibition. This marked the beginning of her rise to fame, as her work gained international attention.

    Kourtney Hay was a pre-med student at the University of Missouri at Columbia. When COVID kicked her off campus, she started painting. She exhibited her work in Ladue’s senior showcase.

    “I was angry, I was sad, and I was frustrated,” she says. “I needed to express my feelings in a way that was raw and honest.”
