Guitar 101 is a blog that provides the basics of playing a guitar. It was created by an internet user who goes by the name of Guitar Ted in order to help beginners find what they need to know about this instrument.

To make it easier for everyone, the creator has divided the blog into different sections to help users quickly find what they are looking for. The sections are: learning basics; learning chords; learning scales; learning how to read music and tabs; understanding guitar accessories and equipment; how to record your music; how to pick out a good guitar for beginners; how to start a band, and all about guitar songs.

I am a professional guitar teacher and blogger. I have been teaching guitar and piano for over 15 years. I have taught many students of all different levels, from beginner to advanced. If you are a beginner, and you want to buy a guitar, there are some things you should know. First, there are different kinds of guitars, and depending on your purpose for playing one may be more suitable than another.

I’ll try to explain the basics of each kind of guitar that I have played.

Acoustic Guitars

These are probably the most common type of guitar, they’re also the cheapest. This makes them ideal for beginners who just want to try out how playing a guitar feels like. Acoustics can vary in shape, size and sound quality, but in general they are characterized by their body’s acoustic sound box or resonating chamber. The strings on an acoustic pluck the body of the instrument which then produces the sound. They use either steel or nylon strings depending on the player’s preference.

Acoustic guitars are available in different sizes such as dreadnought (the most common), jumbo and parlor which differ in their body size and bass response. They can also come with cutaway which allow easier access to higher frets and sound holes that act as speakers for acoustic amplifiers (plugged into an amplifier it will produce much louder sound).
