Portrait photography is a really exciting and rewarding service that I offer to my clients. It involves passion, skill and a keen eye for detail.

I love photographing people that I know – especially when they become customers of mine. It’s great because I can take photos of people who have never had their photograph taken before and watch their expressions as they’re looking at the back of the camera.

It’s a portrait photography session. It’s a big day. It’s probably the first time you’ve ever done anything like this. You’re excited, you’re nervous, and you’re wondering what to expect.

You can imagine what it is like for an artist to have someone walk into their studio (or, in our case, into their living room) and say “I’m here for my painting lesson.” You are so excited that your hands are trembling and your knees are weak. This is my first guest post on the blog and I’m so excited about it!!! I’ve had the pleasure of photographing this lovely family for years now and always enjoy their time in front of my camera.

This shoot was no exception. With the addition of their newest family member, a handsome baby boy, our session was extra special.

Their oldest little girl is a true firecracker! She was jumping all over the place and making me giggle throughout the entire shoot. Her bright eyes and sweet smile are captivating! Their second little girl is precious beyond words and has some serious modeling skills for being only 3 years old! She was a pro in front of the camera, too!

The boys were just as much fun as their sisters! Big brother was very helpful with holding his baby brother and keeping him happy while mom and dad took photos of just me and him. Little brother was full of smiles, too…but he fell asleep in my arms pretty quickly after we wrapped up our session.

And of course, it wouldn’t be complete without mentioning their fabulous mama and dada. They are so easy going and fun to work with in front of my camera! It’s obvious they adore their children so very much…and aren’t afraid to
