I started painting faces on people’s faces when I was 14 years old, and I’ve been doing it as a hobby ever since. It has become quite popular, and now I make extra money by doing parties, events, festivals, or doing face painting for children in my town. “Folk art” is the term used to describe the style of face painting that I do. My goal with this blog is to get more people interested in the art form, show them how to do it themselves, and maybe even start a new fashion trend!

If you are interested in learning how to paint on your own face or someone else’s face (your friends, family members, etc), then this blog is for you! There are lots of tips and tricks for every kind of face painting design. The first thing you’ll want to do is read the “About Me” page so that you can learn more about what inspired me to do this and why I decided to make a blog about it.

I am a face painter who has been working as a professional artist for over 15 years (with many independent gallery and museum shows to my credit) and I also teach face painting classes.

I am often asked about my technique when painting on people…so I decided to create this blog to show how I paint my faces, as well as share some fun face painting ideas with folks.

Folk Art Painting (FAP) is a sub-genre of the Folk Fine Arts movement. This movement is characterized by its more contemporary style, and aims to inspire and educate young and old alike through the mediums of folk art.

FAP artists are passionate about painting people. What makes our work so unique is that we use methods and techniques to paint faces that most folk artists would never even consider.

We use acrylic paint, watercolour paint, fabric paints, airbrushes, stencils, face masks, face paints, and much much more.

In face painting, there’s a lot of room for creativity. The sky is the limit when it comes to subject matter, color schemes, and designs.

You can choose to recreate a famous portrait or paint an original design. You can paint anything from a butterfly to a tiger.

However, the most popular design by far is painting a face on someone’s face. This is not only fun but also quite easy to do, as long as you have the right techniques and are willing to practice!

Before you start, here are some things you’ll need:

* Face Paint: You can buy face paints in many different colors and shades from your local arts and crafts store. However, keep in mind that some paints will look better than others depending on what you want to paint. For example, black works great for painting animals from exotic lands like tigers and panthers, but it doesn’t work so well if you’re painting Bob Marley or even an elephant! Similarly, white face paint works great for characters like ghosts or ghouls but might be too stark if you want something more subtle like an angel or fairy. Also consider how easily the paint washes off your skin before purchasing it; cheaper paints tend to stain your skin more than higher quality photo face paints

Face painting is a very artistic and creative way to enhance your face. The products used in face paint are usually safe, but some can cause allergic reactions or irritation. The most popular colors are vibrant colors, like green, pink and blue. Some face paints include glitter and sparkles.

It’s fun to use face paint as part of a costume or to get ready for a party. You can also use face paint to add some color and interest to your daily makeup routine. Face paint is easy to apply with the help of a mirror. Face paint comes in liquid form or a crayon-style stick. Liquid face paint is applied with a brush that has been dipped into the container of face paint. If you want the paint to last all day, you will want to apply it before bedtime so you have time for it dry completely before you go out in public the next morning.
