Every one of you has a character. It is up to you to discover what your character is. For example, I’ve discovered that I am very whimsical. (Hailey says to me “Dad why are you so goofy?”) You can make a discovery of who you are by doodling or just expressing yourself freely with your hands and eyes.

In order to get started, here are some examples of what doodles can be like:

If you have ever wished for a piece of art with your personal style, your favorite quote or even your child’s name as the main theme, then maybe you should consider ordering some custom art. Yes, it is possible to create a one-of-a-kind work of art at home using things that you probably already have lying around.

How To Order Custom Doodle Art

First, you will need a pencil, paper and an eraser. You can also use markers and paints if you prefer to do so. The theme of the drawing is up to you. Just think about it and write down on a piece of paper whatever comes to your mind first. Once you have an idea in mind, start working on it.

Next, draw some lines that will outline the drawing. If it is supposed to be a portrait of someone or a landscape, then start working on the details, such as eyes, nose or hair. If you are doing something abstract like shapes or letters, then just continue drawing until it looks interesting enough for you to call it finished. When this happens, stop working on the artwork and get ready to check out how it looks like on paper.

The best way to order custom doodle art is to give us details about the subject and what you want. Write a paragraph or two. The more information you can give us the better we can customize your doodle art for you.

Here are some questions you may wish to include in your description:

What subject do you want?

How would you like it to look or feel?

Is there anything on the drawing that should be left out, or emphasized?

Would you like it as an original piece of art, or as a print?

Would you like your drawing framed? If so, please let us know the size you would like it framed (roughly).

Where would you like us to ship it?**

Art is one of the most personal gifts you can give. It can be a one of a kind doodle that reminds someone of a specific memory or experience, or something more formal and thought out.

Doodle art is fun to give and often produces that “awe” factor when the recipient opens it up to reveal a personalized piece of art.

With Doodle Art, you can give that special person in your life an original work of art that they will enjoy looking at every day.

Here’s how to order your own custom doodle art:

1. Choose the type of medium you want your doodle in (pencil drawing, ink drawing, marker drawing)

2. Decide on the type of paper you want your doodle on (copy paper, card stock paper, Bristol board)

3. Provide 2-3 reference images along with a description for me to use as inspiration for your doodle art. Be sure to include any important information or details you would like included in your custom doodle (prominent people in the image, specific objects, etc.)

The only thing I didn’t like in the whole process was how the pricing was done. The prices were a little high for my taste, but their were two things that made it bearable. First, you could send them a photo of your face (or whatever else) and they would draw it out with markers and return it to you via email. I thought this was a cool feature because this is something I would never be able to do on my own, so it was nice that they did it for me. Second, I asked them if they had any discounts or promos going on and within a week or two of mailing my request for information about their promo/discounts, they sent me an email saying that they had just put some new deals into effect and one of them was exactly what I wanted. All in all, they are pretty nice people and they have good prices, but it takes a little while to get down to business with them.
