“How to Make a Fantasy World” is an introduction to creating new worlds for your stories and games.

The video is the first in a series of tutorials designed to teach you everything you need to know to create your own fantasy world.

It covers everything from how to conceptualize, create, and populate your world with inhabitants, to how to make it feel real and accessible. It also includes valuable tools like a workbook that you can use to build your own fantasy world.

So, you want to build your own fantasy world, eh? You’ve got an imagination the size of a walnut, and you’re tired of being limited to the same old boring worlds that J.R.R. Tolkien and H.P. Lovecraft and George R.R. Martin have already imagined for you? Good for you! Fantasy is the last bastion of creativity in this world we live in!

But, if you’ve never done this sort of thing before, there are hundreds of pitfalls lying in wait for you: newbie mistakes that will make it look like your world was built by a toddler with a crayon set. This tutorial will help you avoid those mistakes and create a world that will be worthy of the word “fantasy” — one that is strange enough to attract attention from curious readers, coherent enough to keep them coming back for more, and detailed enough that they can really get lost in it!

Many people assume that fantasy worlds are a natural phenomenon. They are not. They are the result of hard work by artists and writers.

In this tutorial we will build a fantasy world from scratch, but you’ll find that we don’t do much that’s new. Instead we will simply assemble existing techniques in novel ways.

Most fantasy worlds fall apart due to poor foundations, and this is often because the creators had an incomplete understanding of the best practices for building their world.

The first step is to gather ideas and inspirations. The next step is to choose a setting and map out the geography. This is followed by populating the world with different types of inhabitants. We will also look at how to create different cultures in your world and how they interact with each other.

The next step is to add history to our world and finally we will look at some tools for adding weather, magic, and monsters into our world.

Conventional fantasy worlds are based on Medieval Europe, or on European folklore. But other times and places have different mythologies, which is why Tolkien’s Middle Earth feels so strange. I will explain how to make a fantasy world from scratch, using surrealism as a guide.

Tolkien was inspired by northern European folklore, but his work had a strong influence on subsequent fantasy authors, who built on his work in a kind of feedback loop. As the story of Middle Earth solidified, the elements that were unique to Tolkien became de facto conventions of the genre: Hobbits, Orcs, Elves and so on. These elements became tropes of fantasy art: if you draw an orc, it should be short and ugly and live in a dark underworld.

Tolkien’s setting was also extremely influential in another way: as a model for how to think about fantasy worlds. The most important thing he did was to make his world feel consistent: there were reasons for everything in it to be the way it was. There were languages with consistent grammar and roots in real-world languages (Elvish is based on Finnish), cultures with consistent mythology (the “Silmarillion” is essentially Norse mythology), geography with rivers flowing into lakes that form estuaries that empty into seas

The world of fantasy has a formula to it that is followed by some of the greatest authors of our time. This tutorial will guide you through the different steps of creating your own fantasy world and give you a list of useful things to keep in mind as you construct your fantasy world.

It is important that you do not create a world that exists only in your mind. This is called “personal fantasy” and it is very difficult to relate to.

You should try and make your fantasy world exist on its own as much as possible. It should have its own history, geography, politics and so on. Your task is to make the reader believe that your world has always existed.

What you need before you can start making your fantasy world is a pen, paper and lots of patience!

When you are creating a fantasy world, the first thing you must decide is how old it is. If you are writing a series or a saga, then you should work out how many thousands of years your fantasy universe has been around for. If this is just a short story or book, then perhaps it has only been around for a few thousand years.

The next thing you need to think about is what created your fantasy universe? Was it simply created by the gods or was there something else?

And how long ago did this creation take place? Was it yesterday, or was it millions of years ago?

Finally, what are the races? Are there any elves or dwarves? If so, where do they live and why? Or are they just fairy
