Malls are a mall of fun, so to speak. Not every kid has the privilege of going to malls with his/her parents. If you’re stuck at home because of a bad weather, or you’re sick, or your parents are out and you’re lonely. Well, there’s no need to be sad and bored. There are still ways to entertain yourself.

When the weather’s nice, go outside and make art with water on the sidewalk or driveway. Here’s what you need:

** Water

** Food coloring (optional)

** A hose or watering can

** Paper towels or rags

** Tape

** A bucket with some dirty water (or a bucket of water with some food coloring)

You don’t have to go outside. You can make art inside too! Just grab a piece of paper and tape it down to your table. Pour some water into a cup, add a few drops of food coloring if you want your designs to be colorful, and use that as your “paint”. Then grab whatever is handy-a fork, a spoon, an unsharpened pencil-and start making designs! When you’re done with that piece of paper, just fold it up and draw on another one! The more art you

Malls are a mall of fun, so to speak. They are the great American equalizer. No matter where you live, there is a mall near you. You can go to it and be safe and not worry about what other people think of you. It’s like a second home for many children and teenagers.

Toys R Us is like a candy store for kids from toddlers to pre-teens. You can find just about any toy at this megastore–except for the one thing that may be missing: your child’s imagination.

Not all retail stores have to be boring. They can be fun places for parents and children alike to spend time together. I know the importance of having someplace fun to go with my child because I have been there myself, with my younger sister when we were young girls. My parents took us everywhere! The Art Museum was our favorite place. It was filled with artwork that we could dream about owning one day ourselves: paintings that made us feel like we owned the world when we painted them on canvases of our own at home while listening to music like “Piano Man” by Billy Joel or “The Way We Were” by Barbra Streisand (a great singer/songwriter, too). We

As kids, we all loved being outdoors. But as adults, we have become so much more busy than our parents and grandparents were. We are always on the go, trying to make ends meet.

So when do we have time to enjoy the outdoors? What about those trips to the mall? Kids can be a pain in the neck sometimes; they keep asking you to stop at every single store in the mall. They are bored with all their toys and want something new to play with.

What do you do? Head out to your local mall? Think again! It’s not as bad as it sounds. There are other things that you can do there. Here is how:

1) Sit down at one of the food courts and order a cup of coffee or hot chocolate for each one of you and your kids. While enjoying your own drink, watch your kids having their food (and if they don’t get anything, let them know that they can order something else if they want).

2) If you really don’t like eating at the food court, but would still like to be near your children while enjoying a cup of coffee or hot chocolate, head over to Starbucks or any other coffee shop and have one there. While sitting there with your children,

First of all, you need to know that there are a lot of benefits to taking your child to the mall. Here are a few:

• It will give you more time to be on your cell phone while you walk around the mall.

• It will allow you to make fun of teenagers who shop at Abercrombie and Fitch.

• You can make fun of people who actually buy things at Abercrombie and Fitch.

• You can use it as an opportunity to say, “I’m going to get you something from Bath & Body Works.” And then when you get home, you can give them some lotion or candle or air freshener instead.

• You can take your kids to a store such as Hot Topic and pretend that you’re shopping for a new wardrobe for yourself.

I love to go to the mall. I know most of the stores and clerks, and they are always happy to see me. When I go, everyone is my friend. I come home with lots of treasures, and a very full wallet.

Toys are my favorite treasure. I have a room full of them at home, and still want more. I also like jewelry. The necklaces with my name on them are my favorites because they’re so unique. My favorite part of going to the mall is getting a new outfit for school. My mom calls it “shopping therapy.” She says that if we can’t buy something nice for ourselves, we can’t have it.

When you are shopping with kids, you have to make sure not to lose track of time and money. When your kids need something from the bathroom or food from the food court, you have to take them there just as soon as possible so that you don’t lose valuable shopping time. Also, don’t let kids run wild in the store or there will be trouble with security guards who probably won’t appreciate their rambunctious ways. Security guards are not known for their sense of humor in these matters; many times they can ruin your whole shopping trip if they choose to do

There are many different things you can do with your kids at the mall. You can sit around and drink coffee or go to a movie. Or you can bring along a few of the questions listed below and have fun answering them together.

Also, some malls have play areas where children can safely play while their parents shop. These areas usually have slides, swing sets, and other fun toys for kids. Find out if your mall has one and take advantage of it if it does.
