Food art is made by mixing art and food. This blog aims to provide you with the basic knowledge to make your own food art. Everything here is about how food art is made, not about why it’s made, so I’ll leave that for you to think about.
It’s not the easiest thing to have a blog about food art, because not everyone is excited when they see food that looks like it could be made of paint or clay. But I’m hoping this is something that will appeal to more people than just me. I share some of my creations with you and explain how I made them, and show you some great art created by other people.
Taste is subjective of course, but since I’m basically talking about making food in shapes that are already familiar to most people, you can at least get a feeling for whether you like the style or not.
I hope you’ll enjoy the blog enough to follow it even if you don’t think any of the projects are your taste!

Food art can be an amazing centerpiece for any dinner party or event. It can also be used in restaurants to attract customers who are looking for something fun and visually appealing to order off the menu.
The most important thing you must do when attempting to create food art is to have fun! Food art can be as simple or elaborate as you choose, so go ahead and have some fun with it! You never know what you might end up creating!”
Artistic food is the art of food made by using creativity and imagination. The idea of artistic food came into existence when people started to look at food as a medium in which they can express their creativity. Food art is one way of expressing this creativity. Food art is more than just cooking because it involves a lot of artistic elements as well as culinary knowledge and skills.
The ingredients that are used in artistic foods are mostly edible, but there are some exceptions too. The fact that these foods are edible does not make them less attractive or attractive at all. On the other hand, some artists create non-edible art out of food items. They have taken this idea to another level.
Food art is the creation of plates, napkins and other things that are used in the dining table with different kinds of food in it. If you take a close look at one such item, you would be surprised to see the amount of effort that has gone into it and how much creativity has been applied while creating such an artwork on your plate.

Food art is a term used to describe the process of creating and designing unique foods, either out of food coloring or by using nontraditional methods.
On the other hand, there are some excellent online sources for learning basic techniques and understanding recipes.
I have used this site several times, both to learn how to make French macarons, and to refresh my memory on basic pie making. The author is a pastry chef at the Culinary Institute of America, so she knows her stuff!
There is also another good baking blog called “The Baking Explorer,” which has a lot of good tips and recipes.
The best place to start with food art is probably the book Food Art by Wendy McCrory, which contains instructions and advice on making all sorts of edible creations out of food.

Artists have been creating art out of food for centuries, and some of the greatest culinary artists in history have also been renowned painters. The famous Dutch painter Johannes Vermeer created a still life painting entitled “A Woman Cooking Eggs” around 1665. This painting is an early example of how artists were able to translate the beauty found in nature into something akin to edible art.
Trompe l’oeil was a type of art developed by Renaissance-era artists. It is a French phrase that means “fool the eye.” It refers to a style of painting that uses realistic imagery to create an optical illusion within the painting itself. This style was used in many Renaissance paintings and was particularly popular during the Baroque period.
Trompe l’oeil techniques can be seen in paintings from Van Eyck, Titian, and Caravaggio (see above). Many famous painters have used this technique throughout history to create impressive compositions that fool the eye into thinking they are real-life depictions. These works are so realistic, at first glance it may be difficult for some people to realize that they are actually paintings instead of real objects.
