The Bird Island Cultural Centre has several classes scheduled. Sign up on the website at www.birdislandculture.com , 320-365-1011. CATS Club: Wednesdays, 7 to 9 p.m., $50. The Creating Art Together club encourages adults to explore their creative side with friends. Bring your supplies or if you want to try out a new medium (watercolor, watercolor pencils, oil pastels, soft pastels, graphite, India ink, acrylics, etc.) the Cultural Centre has some supplies available. All are welcome as we explore the use of different mediums while developing skills and learn together. The fee is an annual membership fee. Creative Minds Youth Program — The Art Experience: Wednesdays through Feb. 26, 3:15 to 5 p.m., grades 4-6, $30 per month. Youth are invited to explore painting, drawing, sculpting and paper-folding inspired by their imagination in this four-week art experience. An after-school snack and materials are provided. The workshops are usually held on weekends, and the center is open from 10am to 5pm, Monday through Friday. The center is open year-round, but the workshops are only offered during the summer months.

  • Day 4: Assembly and finishing touches
