I would like to inform you about the definition of Baroque Artwork. I will give you information about this form of art and some examples, so we can all understand what it is.

Baroque Artwork is a form of art that was prevalent during the 17th and 18th century in Europe. It is a style that was developed in Rome and Italy. This style of art was very ornamental and used a lot of movement, religious imagery and emotionalism in it’s artwork.

It was a popular style of art during the time when the Catholic Church was still strong and had a lot of power over it’s members. The art was also often used to depict religious stories and figures, but sometimes they just focused on nature or had abstract patterns in their artwork as well.

Baroque Artwork has been very influential in other forms of Art, specifically modern day photography with it’s use of light or dark contrasting colors and unusual angles.

The three characteristics that I found that were common in most Baroque Artwork pieces were; dramatic use of light and dark spots, extremely detailed imagery and figures, and an overall feeling that there is movement happening within the piece. A lot of Baroque artists would use paintbrushes with long fibers
