A roof deck, a screened porch, and a brownstone stoop are all fantastic additions to any home and will increase the value of your home as well. The rooftop deck is perfect for hosting parties or just relaxing with friends on a nice summer evening. The other two additions are great for relaxing in the shade away from the summer heat. If you live in an area where there’s a lot of wind, you may want to consider installing hurricane shutters as well. These will protect your windows and doors from damage during storms and high winds.
Trees can be one of the most beautiful parts of nature, but they can also cause serious damage to your roof if they fall on it during storms or high winds. It is wise to remove trees near your home that are close enough to obstruct your roof or cause damage if they fall on it. If you need help maintaining your roof or trees surrounding it, seek out a local contractor such as Atlanta’s Most Versatile House for assistance. They offer expert advice for maintaining your roof and trees around your home so that you can enjoy them for many years to come.*
Creative, functional and eclectic are the key attributes of this Atlanta-area home. The owners appreciate architecture, art and good design, so they enlisted the help of architect Charles H. Purcell to build a house that would provide a canvas for their ever-changing art collection, a place that could be used in a variety of ways and a refuge from the busy city life just blocks away.
The result is modern with Midcentury influences. The home has three bedrooms, 2.5 baths and 1,840 square feet. The homeowner said the house was designed to be like an art piece and to be flexible for their needs. There is no formal dining room, but there are two tables that can be moved around depending on how many people will be seated for dinner or work at the same time. The living room also has a movable table that can seat up to eight people so the homeowners can host parties or work in groups.
If you are looking for a new home, be sure to pay attention to the way it can be used. Many people make the mistake of thinking that a house can only be used in one way. However, there are so many different ways in which a home can be used in a variety of ways that people often find it difficult to choose between them.
Tiny houses are probably the best example of this. They are great for those who are looking for an affordable, smaller place that can still be used in a variety of ways. Tiny houses come in all shapes and sizes, and they can be built on wheels as well making them much easier to move from one location to another, or even one country to another. These tiny houses often have furniture that can fold down making them even more versatile allowing them to be used in even more ways than ever before.
Tiny houses are perfect for those who are downsizing or simply want a space that is smaller and easier to maintain. This is because they tend to have less furniture and less maintenance overall. If you enjoy being outdoors then you may also want to consider looking into tiny homes because most of them have porches and decks on the outside where you can enjoy your time outside without having to worry about getting eaten by bugs
I’m not sure why I haven’t seen something like this sooner. A company called KangaDo has come out with a line of pop-up houses that are both portable and modular, so they can be set up in any number of configurations. The first two models are a four-bedroom house and a three-bedroom cabin, but the possibilities for expansion are endless. There are endless possibilities for expansion! You could have one style of floor plan in the center, surrounded by other styles on all sides! You could have an upside down house! You could have an Escher house!
The floor plans themselves aren’t too different from what you’d find in a prefabricated home, but it’s the folding nature of these houses that makes them unique. Each is made up of four panels that fold into a single unit with a footprint of 8×24 feet, and then fold out to form a larger structure. It takes about two hours to set up one of these houses; each comes with its own staircase and can handle up to 60 inches of snow. Best part: they’re completely customizable. If you want some windows in your ceiling, they can make it happen. And if you want some rooms
I was able to find exactly what I was looking for at Wayfair.com. I needed a specific dimension and found exactly what I wanted. The picture looked just like the real thing, and when it arrived, it was everything I had hoped for.
I was impressed by the price and quality of the product, and I will be buying from this company again in the near future.
Aesthetically, I find the cover art to be pretty dated. The colors are all sort of cutesy and dated. Could you imagine a cover like this being used today? I mean, this is a cover that screams “late eighties” to me, with the big yellow sun, the blue sky with clouds, and the rather generic suburban neighborhood.
It looks like something that belonged on an early CD from a rock or pop band. Maybe you know it’s a house because of all the windows but I don’t know if it would be obvious to most people who didn’t already know what it was. It is not so much an icon as it is just an image of a house.
I don’t find it very appealing either, but maybe others might disagree with me about that.
As an album cover for an indie/alternative/folk singer-songwriter, it seems totally appropriate (even though I personally wouldn’t use it). It has potential to appeal to its target audience by showing what looks like a family-friendly home that could be purchased by anyone who wanted to move into a nice neighborhood in the suburbs.
I think they did well in choosing this image because of its
