Hello, My name is Owen Winklemeir and I am a ikea employee. I have been working for IKEA for 5 years now and also attend college at the same time so that I can get my degree in art.

We are currently looking to hire an artist who has an affinity with minimalist design or just art in general who can help us with a special ikea project that we are planning. The event will be held on January 12th 2021. We will be collaborating with some other companies, but they have not been announced yet.

This event will be open to the public and tickets will go on sale at the end of 2020. The ikea art event is a festival of art that takes place annually in twenty-twenty. The event lasts for one week and brings in thousands of people from all over the world.

The idea came to life at the same time as ikea it self was founded. The first artist hired by ikea was Picasso and his contract was to create a piece based on what he thought would represent the company. After that many artists were hired and there has been a piece created every year since then.

The ikea art event has grown into one of the most anticipated events in the world, but there was not always this much hype around it. In the beginning only local groups of people knew about it and they would prepare small events with music and food which slowly grew into the much larger event that it is today.

In addition to artwork placed throughout various spots of the store, ikea also provides events for attendees to take part in. Some notable ones are: free food samples, live music concerts and even a sales section were people can purchase limited edition items made specifically for the event.*

I would like to take you through a journey of how I came up with the idea for this event.

The idea struck me in the early months of 2015. It was all very sudden, as such ideas usually are. I’m quite sure that had it not been for the fact that my family was moving out of our old home and into a new one at the moment, I would have never thought about this.
