Painting your dining room wall can be a great way to add color and interest to the space, but it’s important to consider the layout of your room before diving in. First, determine if you want your focal point to be a painting or a piece of art. You could also consider adding some artwork or framed photos on the wall as well.

This is the type of wall that is most likely to show any imperfections, so keep that in mind when choosing a paint color. If you’re not sure about what colors will work best in your space, it’s best to start off with a neutral paint color and move from there. Also consider what kind of furniture you plan to put in the room. If you have lots of light-colored pieces, you might want to try an accent wall in deep red or burgundy.

I am still trying to decide if it will look good or not on my dining room wall. I really like it but I am afraid it will be too much. It seems so simple and yet so modern that I cannot decide if it will look good in my house or not. The colors are bright and the lines are strong and the artist managed to make a beautiful piece reminiscent of nature and yet showing how man can use nature’s elements to create something beautiful on his own.

A couple of years back, I painted our dining room with one of those big-box store paints and as you can see from the pictures, it didn’t turn out nearly as well as I’d hoped. I was really unhappy with how the paint turned out. It took forever to dry and there were streaks everywhere.

I’m pretty sure that my mistake was that I did not prime the wall before painting. So, this time around, when we started to paint our kitchen, I primmed!

See what a difference priming made? We still need to do all of the trim in our house and then paint them all white so we are going to have to prime again, but it’s worth it because even though it takes more time, priming makes such a difference in the outcome that it’s worth it!
