“image quality” is a very subjective thing. The digital world has comletely changed the way that we produce, share and consume images. In past times, people who wanted to take a picture had to first create the camera and then take it with them on a trip. Today, everyone has a lot of cameras in their pockets.
When you are traveling or experiencing something new, you may want to capture this moment with your camera or phone. But there are some things that can make your images look better. So here are ten tips that will help you improve image quality in nft crypto art:
1. Do not exceed the recommended size of your camera’s sensor

1. Stay away from the following:
High contrast images, high contrast means large variations in brightness (white and black)
Low color images, try to keep your image within 8-bit color range. If you need to go higher than that, do it gradually not all at once. Doing so will increase the file size and will slow down the transfer time.
Use image formats that compress well and retain most of the image quality like PNG, JPG, TGA, BMP and so on. Avoid GIF format due to high file size and low quality lossless compression.

Reduce the resolution of your image: Image with large dimensions are called high resolution images or “hi-res” for short and they are very hard to compress well as a result having them on a web site can cause problems such as long download times or having your website load slowly depending on how many hi-res images you have on your site. You can reduce your image’s dimensions without losing too much quality by using a program like IrfanView (freeware).

A tripod and timer are the only ways to guarantee that your image will not have any blur, as opposed to taking a picture with your phone’s built-in camera.
2. Do not use the flash
When you take pictures of yourself with the flash on, the light from this causes shadows to appear under your eyes and nose, which makes you look older than you actually are. If you want to take pictures of yourself without looking older than you actually are, don’t use the flash!
3. Take close-up pictures
Taking close-up photographs make your face seem thinner because it eliminates excess background details and clothing. This is a surefire way to improve the quality of your images!
4. Stand straight while taking pictures of yourself
If you do this, your muscles will be naturally tightened, which will make them seem more defined and attractive in photos.
5. Take at least two different types of photos before sending them off
Take one picture wearing makeup but no clothes and one picture wearing clothes but no makeup; then choose whichever one looks better for you. This is a good way to ensure that at least one photo is suitable for sending off when developers are asking for new images
1. Blur the edges of the photo before you resize it.
2. Resize it to the size you want before you sharpen it.
3. Sharpen it after resizing it, rather than before.
4. Don’t sharpen it too much, but also don’t let unsharp mask soften your image too much either (the default is a bit too much).
5. Use Unsharpmask to sharpen; don’t use Unsharp Mask (in Photoshop CS5 and higher, use a combination of USM and Unsharpmask if you must have USM).
6. If you’re going to compress the file, do that before sharpening it or else sharpen with a lower amount than normal (say 25%).
7. If compressing or saving as JPEG or PNG, consider dithering your image to 8-bit color depth instead of 24-bit (or 16-bit, if this is for an older game) in order to gain compression space and get better results (this does not apply if working with indexed color images, like those in many RPGs). In the world of computer graphics, images are called “media” and you can use a variety of software to manipulate them. Sometimes, though, the only program you have is Microsoft Paint — which is fine for simple stuff, but sometimes it’s frustratingly limiting. But don’t despair! There are still some things you can do to make your images look better.
TIP 1: ADD A WHITE BORDER
By default, Paint does not add a white border around your image when you save it.* This isn’t that big of a deal with photos or other images with a lot of “white space”, but if you’re drawing something (using the pencil tool) or taking screenshots of text-based programs (like Windows’ Control Panel), it can be annoying. To add a white border, right-click on your image, select “Format Picture…”, and then adjust the margins under the “Border” option.
It is to be expected that the same subject matter should be handled by the same artist in a similar style. The same artist, too, should be able to handle diverse subjects within one framework of forms and colors.
This is a strength of art in general and not just in the field of digital art.
