For the past two months, I have been working on a project–my wedding invitation. I wanted to do something different from what everyone else has seen and make it interesting. So, I made comic art!
I used my own characters, but put them in a scene. It was challenging to do this. The hardest part was the coloring because it is difficult to match the tones of the figures with the background and make sure that everything blends together. It took me several times to get it right.
The characters are: The Bride, The Groom, The Best Man and The Maid of Honor. They are all based on my friends Donnie, John, Matt and Hilda.

My artwork captivate the viewer with its detail and depth of field. Each piece is a unique creation, no two are alike. I begin with pencil sketching and marker drawing to fine tune my concept. Once that has been approved, I proceed to creating the final work. My mixed media entails acrylic paint, water color, glaze, luster dust, pen and ink and more. The process is very labor intensive and time consuming but well worth the effort!
