I just love the blog, what to do at the mall when you have kids. It has a new list of things to do every day and it is updated regularly. My favorite is the “art” section.

The blog offers a wide variety of ideas, and my kids are always asking me which one we are going to do next.

I think that if you are looking for some entertaining ideas for a day out with your children, you should pay them a visit.

Do you have a plan for your time at the mall with your kids? Well, if not, then you need to get one. There is a lot of things to do when you are at the mall and a lot of ways that you can enjoy yourself there. You should find out what they are by reading this article.

Treats for Kids.

Your kids will love treats. They can be easily found at most stores in the mall, but why not make some of your own? You will be surprised how easy it is to make your own treats and how much your children will love them.

Treats such as:

– Pretzel rods dipped in melted chocolate and rolled in chopped nuts.

– Miniature peanut butter sandwiches (cut out shapes with cookie cutters).

– Fruit leather made from fruit roll ups or juice concentrates and spread on a cookie sheet and baked until dry (can also be made with carrots).

Other Ideas:

– Play games such as “I spy” or “10 little monkeys jumping on the bed.” These games are fun for all ages! Have fun!

– Go to the arcade and play video games together. Some arcades have rides too, so it’s like getting two things in one! Go

I am the mother of two boys, ages six and three. I spend a lot of time at the mall, which is where I came across one of my favorite blogs: A Little Mall Music.

In addition to the “regular” blog postings, there are monthly giveaways and a link to a monthly meme — in which bloggers are invited to post photos of their kids playing musical instruments. The blog is run by two moms who used to work together at a children’s store. The blog has really grown since I first started reading it five years ago, and it has become a place for moms and dads of all kinds to find new ideas for fun things to do with their kids. It’s also great for last-minute entertainment ideas.

A Little Mall Music was the inspiration for my new book, A Day Out With Kids: An Unofficial Guide to 401 Fun Things To Do When You Have Children Under 12 (available now from Amazon and Barnes & Noble). There were some other blogs that I found helpful in compiling the guide — including Moms In The Fun Lane, Mommy Poppins and The Artful Parent — but none that seemed quite as comprehensive as A Little Mall Music when it came to good ideas for art projects.

How to make outdoor art with kids? It’s easy. Just take a look at our outdoor art page and you’ll see how we did it.

Paint on black construction paper.

You can make rainbows, happy faces, angels, butterflies, flowers and more.

We did this for a day out at the mall. It was a fun thing to do while we waited in line or when we were just hanging out there. You can use your imagination and be creative!

It’s great because it’s cheap too! Just some construction paper and crayons or markers will do the trick. We have some pictures of our work on our outdoor art page, so you can see what we did and get some ideas for your own creations.

We have been to the mall. We know that when you are there it is easy to feel a bit bored and frustrated by what seems to be an endless sea of shops, restaurants, and movie theaters.

Tired of being stuck in stores? Looking for something more interesting to do than eating at a chain restaurant? Ready to give your kids some fresh air and sunshine?

Here are some ideas for how to make the mall work for you!

The most important thing to remember is that your kids are watching you. They are learning what is acceptable and what is not by how you react to situations. So even if you don’t like it, and even if it goes against your better judgment, if one of their friends does something inappropriate or disrespectful, you need to turn a blind eye.

Treat them the same way you’d want to be treated if you were all in the same situation. If one kid pushes another, and then the other kid pushes back—well, let them resolve it within themselves. Don’t get involved and don’t take sides, even if it is your child who is being pushed around. It’s his own responsibility to handle the situation; what would happen if he wasn’t able to do so?

If someone’s parent gets involved in every little squabble, the other kids will think they can get away with anything. And they will—until they learn the hard way that this particular adult is not going to be such an easy mark.
