People enjoy Christmas as a time to get together with family members and friends, exchange gifts, and have traditional meals. The Christmas season is also a time for people to partake in their favorite winter holiday activities, from skiing and sledding to caroling and ice skating.

This is a very romantic place in winter, quiet and peaceful as it reflects the beauty of its surroundings making it one of the best places in Europe to celebrate Christmas.

10. Visit the Christmas markets in Germany

Travel to European countries during December, and you’ll see that they’ve all got something they’re really good at. If you want to drink gluhwein and eat schnitzel, go to Germany. If you want to be surrounded by a jolly atmosphere and get drunk on mulled wine, go to England. And if you want to walk around in the snow and marvel at the Christmas lights on display, go to Norway or Sweden.

Tis the season for Christmas markets! And there’s nothing better than walking around these markets sampling baked goods and enjoying yourself with friends and family. The Christmas spirit is felt all over when you visit these places; not just because of the holiday decorations, but also thanks to the friendly people who roam the streets looking for any excuse to have a good time.

One of my favorite places is Strasbourg, France. It’s located close the border of Germany so its Christmas market is filled with traditional German treats – including Glühwein (mulled wine). The Picasso Museum in Paris is a museum dedicated to the work of Pablo Picasso, the famous Spanish artist. This museum was created in 1985 and is placed on the left bank of the Seine River. The building that houses this museum was constructed in 1843 and was originally used as a prison. The museum contains over 3,000 works of art and also has many temporary exhibitions.

This museum is truly amazing. Here you can see paintings that were some of Picasso’s earlier works, as well as some of his later pieces. As you enter the museum you can see two large sculptures that are shaped like a woman’s legs with large shoes on. These sculptures are meant to symbolize women who are standing nearby watching all men who enter this museum walk by them on their way inside. The sculpture is named “The Watchers”.

These legs don’t seem like much but once you go further into the museum you will see where Picasso’s true talent lies. The paintings in here are truly amazing and they are hung up using different kinds of materials. Some of these paintings are hung up using ropes while others have poles holding them up with strings attached
