I’ve always been fascinated by graffiti, but I never thought to write about it until I found The Art of Writing. Although street art is a relatively new form of self-expression, there are some masters out there that are taking it to a whole new level.

The most important aspect of street art is that it’s done in public and it’s not authorized by the city. These artists aren’t even necessarily trying to be seen by anyone. It’s more about the act of creating something beautiful and sharing it with the city which they live in.

Street art can take many forms, but what all the different types have in common is that they’re created spontaneously and on a large scale. It’s not like graffiti that’s sprayed or painted onto a wall all at once; street art usually consists of pieces created over a period of time, often pieced together from different materials like wood, metal, cloth, and paint.
