This blog is a collection of your previous Animal Crossing artworks and some new ones on your blog made by you.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons is an upcoming game for the Nintendo Switch. The game will be a spiritual successor to Animal Crossing: New Leaf, following in its footsteps with a new mayor system, improved public works projects, more customization options and amiibo functionality. The game was announced during Nintendo’s E3 2018 presentation, with a planned 2019 release window. The player will take the role of a mayor in a town, similar to that of Animal Crossing: New Leaf.

**What is Animal Crossing?** Animal crossing is an RPG life simulation video game where you play as the human mayor of a town inhabited by anthropomorphic animals. You are able to interact with your villagers who live in your town. You can customize your character and home, buy new furniture or clothing using the money you earn from selling things to Nook’s store, get a part-time job at Nook’s store or other stores around town and participate in various activities such as fishing or bug catching etc.

Here are some sample images from my previous AC artworks:

This would present a collection of Animal Crossing artworks (original and/or fan-made), in a blog format on your Tumblr, DeviantArt, or any other website. The artworks would include various styles and concepts (e.g. super-deformed, cute, abstract, etc.) as well as styles from previous AC games (e.g. Wild World, City Folk, New Leaf).**

The purpose is to celebrate the art of Animal Crossing by giving a platform to artists all around the world for showcasing their artworks, with each artist having their own section on your blog or site where they can post their artwork whenever they want.

There’s already a lot of fan-made AC artworks on the internet but most of it is not consolidated in one place. This project aims to create a centralised location for people who enjoy Animal Crossing art to look at others’ works while also giving artists the opportunity to showcase their latest pieces and even get feedback from others in the same community.

This project will require:**

1) Creating a blog or website where you can post your own artwork as well as other artists’ work and archive older ones as well. [2 hr]

2) Contacting other artists and inviting them to post

Being a fan of art and of Animal Crossing, I have decided to collect some of the wonderful works of AC art that are out there. I would like to start a blog with other fans of AA and AC who share my interests.

Looking through your old Animal Crossing games, you’ve come to realize that the game is a lot more complex than it first appears. You’ve always enjoyed creating art based on the game and share it online, but lately you’ve been considering making a series of these artworks and posting them on your blog for other fans to enjoy.

I would like to start a new design blog, where I will post concept art and fan art of Animal Crossing. It will be mostly because I love the game so much and want to share my creations with other players. There will be a lot of original artwork, as well as tutorials on how to achieve certain effects.

The blog will likely be really newbie friendly and I’ll try to explain everything in details.

If you haven’t played the series, let me give you a bit of history on the concept of Animal Crossing. Created by Nintendo as a sort of spin-off title to their popular “fishing” game, it is a game in which you are able to take control of your own life as an animal and live it out in a small town. It takes place in real time, so while you sleep, the hours pass. The seasons change, and many things in your town change with them. You can catch fish or find bugs (or both at once!) depending on the season. You can customize everything about your character, including clothing and eye color. Your character can be male or female, and can be named whatever you want.

Animal Crossing is a video game series developed by Nintendo EAD and published by Nintendo. Since its debut in 2001 with Animal Crossing for the Nintendo GameCube, the series has spawned three more games on subsequent Nintendo consoles. The series centers around a human player character (currently named “Isabelle”) living in a village populated with anthropomorphic animals, carrying out various activities such as fishing, bug catching, fossil hunting, etc.

The first Animal Crossing game was released in Japan on December 14th 2001 for the Nintendo GameCube and later was released in North America and Europe on September 15th 2002. A month later on October 16th 2002 the game was released for the Nintendo GameCube in Japan followed by an international release on March 14th 2003. On November 15th 2005 a new version of Animal Crossing for the GameCube called Animal Crossing: City Folk was released worldwide which featured new items, gameplay mechanics and online capabilities via WiiConnect24 which are still used today in the Wii U entry to the series, Animal Crossing: New Leaf which was released on November 8th 2012.

Animal Crossing: New Leaf has received many positive reviews globally with some reviewers applauding its social elements and open ended gameplay while others have criticized it as being too similar to previous entries in the series.
