Exhibiting the Creativity of WTC Art Students

The Scurry County Museum will be showcasing the talents of Western Texas College art students in the WTC Student Art Show, which will be on display from Tuesday, April 15, through Friday, April 25. The exhibit will highlight the diverse range of student artwork, featuring various mediums such as paintings, drawings, mixed media, and digital designs.

  • Paintings and drawings of local landscapes and cityscapes
  • Mixed media art incorporating various textures and materials
  • Digital designs showcasing the students’ understanding of color theory and composition
  • Sculptures and three-dimensional artworks that push the boundaries of traditional mediums

The exhibit is a culmination of two semesters of hard work and dedication by many WTC art students. According to Patrick Schneider, Assistant Professor of Art, “This show is the culmination of two semesters of growth and hard work for many of these students. I am proud of their efforts and excited for the public to see and experience this talent and diligence through art.”
