A Career of Honors
Rosetta’s artistic output has slowed in recent years as she has taken on a caregiving role for a family member, so she wasn’t initially part of the 2025 Governor’s Art Show in her plans. However, the show’s Executive Director Ruth Scott invited her to be the legacy artist, an offer she couldn’t refuse. “I told her that I don’t have any new work to show,” Rosetta said with a laugh. “And she said ‘the legacy artist doesn’t have to have new work’.” And then the hard part was picking something that I hadn’t shown here before.”
A Community Project
The Governor’s Art Show is a beloved tradition in Loveland, with a legacy artist selected each year to be honored. The show is a celebration of Colorado talent and has been running for decades. Newcomer
