The Art of Light Manipulation
Fred Eversley’s work is characterized by its ability to manipulate light and perception, creating an immersive experience for the viewer. His parabolic resin forms are a testament to his innovative approach to sculpture, which challenges traditional notions of form and function. • Eversley’s use of parabolic shapes allows him to create a sense of depth and dimensionality, drawing the viewer’s eye into the sculpture. • The resin material used in his work is highly reflective, allowing it to manipulate light and create a sense of movement and energy.
This is due to the use of supplementary cementitious materials (SCMs) such as fly ash or silica fera.
