Okay, so maybe not exactly five minutes (the whole process takes way longer than five minutes), but it is possible to give yourself a quick makeover in the comfort of your own home.

The first step is to choose a new lipstick color. The easiest way to do this is to pick a lipstick that’s already in your makeup bag and try it out next time you put on some new mascara or eyeliner (or both). But if you don’t have any lipsticks lying around, try a few different shades on at the drugstore or department store until you find one that matches your skin tone (I’m partial to Clinique’s Black Honey).

Okay, so you’ve got your lipstick. Now what? Well, the following steps are divided into three categories: eyes, mouth, and cheeks. Under each category are numbered steps corresponding with how many minutes each step will take (for example, 0.5 minutes if it’ll take half a minute or 2.5

The other day I came across an article about makeup. It was a pretty interesting read, so I thought I’d share some of the tips with you.

Makeup is the art of transforming your face. It can make you look younger, fresher and more beautiful. Makeup can also make you look older, tired and dull as a result of choosing the wrong colors. Here are some tips that will help you achieve the best effect with makeup.

Note: these tips work for all skin types and tones.

Tip 1: Always start with a clean face. If you wear makeup, remove it before going to bed so that your skin can breathe and rejuvenate itself overnight without any obstruction. You should also remove your makeup before applying any skincare products or makeup removers designed for sensitive skin.

Tip 2: Use primer on your face before applying foundation, powder or concealer to ensure that your makeup will stay in place all day long. Do not apply primer on eyelids as it may cause irritation or clogging of your eyelashes.

The primer is usually made up of a colorless formula that helps smooth out your skin’s texture without changing its color or tone. After applying the primer wait for it to dry before you apply makeup products underneath it to avoid getting them stuck in the pores on your skin’s surface.

Tip 3: Use moisturizer after washing your face and pat drying it so that there

One of the common questions I get asked is how I manage to look so well all the time even when I’m running around like a mad woman from one thing to another. The reason why I always manage to look put together and fresh despite my busy schedule is because of the products I use, quick changes in hairstyles and makeup, and these 5 easy tricks!

TIP 1: The power of contouring. Contouring is all about shading the face in order to create shadows and highlights, which help to emphasize the cheekbones and slim down the face.

To do this, start off with a foundation that’s two shades lighter than your natural skin tone. Next, apply a concealer on both sides of your nose as well as by your ears. This will make it seem narrower as well as more defined.

Now take a bronzer or highlighter and sweep it beneath your cheekbones in an upward motion then blend it into your neck with downward strokes.

Lastly, apply some blush on top of your cheekbones (not below!). This will give you a healthy glow along with that sculpted cheekbone look.

The final touch? Apply a high-quality loose powder onto your face for a matte finish.-Kim Kardashian

To help you with your personal style, I’ve put together this guide to dressing for every occasion. Whether you’re going out with friends, working in the office, or meeting a new love interest for the first time, I’ve got you covered.

Tops:

Stay away from anything that has sparkles or glitter. It makes you look like a prom queen from the early 90s. Instead of diamonds, opt for a basic t-shirt. You can get them in any color and they’re easy to dress up or down depending on your outfit. If you’re wearing a skirt with your t-shirt, make sure it’s not too short because it will distract people from what you’re saying and make them focus on what kind of underwear you have on. Also, stay away from low cut shirts. The last thing anyone wants to see is your bra strap.
