One World Flag
Our conversation with the co-founders of New York-based creative studio Burn & Broad, Eugene Serebrennikov and Vicente Garcia Morillo, was a fascinating glimpse into the world of art and design, and the ways in which their two studios, Burn & Broad and Another Day, coexist and fuel each other. At the heart of their mission is a balance between art and design, a ethos that has guided their work since the founding of Burn & Broad in 2016. The studio has since become known for its innovative and thought-provoking campaigns for clients like Loewe, Nike, and J. Cole. However, it’s Another Day, an offshoot of Burn & Broad, that allows Serebrennikov and Garcia to explore their own personal art projects without the constraints of commercial clients. A standout example of their work is the award-winning campaign for Nike Kids, “Never Done Playing”, which brought to life a surreal 3D world that celebrated the spirit of play. Another notable project was their immersive listening experience for rapper Russ, which blurred the lines between art and music to create a deeply spiritual and immersive event. Serebrennikov and Garcia also explored their own experiences navigating daily life in New York City, which inspired their directorial debut, “Beautiful Chaos”. This project saw them working across multiple media, from painting to sculpture, to create a visual love letter to the city. Their vision for Another Day is simple: a playground where they can experiment with new techniques and mediums, unencumbered by the rules of commercial clients. It’s here that they can push the boundaries of art and design, and create without limits. Their recent project, “One World Flag”, is a prime example of their commitment to unity and interconnection. A thought-provoking installation, short film, and exhibition, it challenges the idea of flags as symbols of division, and instead presents a universal emblem that connects everyone and everything.
“One World Flag” is a deeply personal project we created through Another Day as an art installation, short film, and exhibition all built around a single idea: unity. In a time of increasing division, polarization, and fear, we wanted to reimagine the idea of flags— not as symbols of division, but as a universal emblem that connects us all.
For Serebrennikov and Garcia, the boundaries between art and design are blurred, and their work is driven by a desire to create without limits. Their mission is to push the boundaries of art and design, and to explore new mediums and techniques. Whether they’re working with clients through Burn & Broad or making personal work through Another Day, the goal is the same: to create something truly innovative and thought-provoking. For those interested in attending the “One World Flag” exhibition on Earth Day, here are the details:

The Art of Unity is a project that brings together art and design, and challenges the boundaries of what is possible. With their work, Serebrennikov and Garcia are pushing the limits of creativity, and inspiring others to do the same. As they say, “We hope it inspires others to do the same.” Here is a chance to be a part of something truly special.
