One Way to Make Your Art POP – Design a Custom Poster

You can take your art to every gallery in your area and still not get any sales; you can have a perfect website and still not get any views; you can spend years trying to make your art perfect, but it will never be good enough.

But what if you had a custom poster of your art? It would be the one thing that sets you apart from all the other starving artists. After all, how many people do you know that have posters hanging on the walls of their house or office?

That’s exactly why you should make a poster for your gallery exhibitions; it is the one thing that will attract more viewers to your art.

With images that pop off the page, a poster is just that much easier to notice than a standard print or even an original painting. Plus, they are so much more affordable than original paintings & prints.

A custom poster shows your potential customers that you aren’t just some artist who makes paintings by hand, but rather someone who has made it their business to learn design skills.**

One of the best ways to make your art stand out from the crowd is to create a poster for it that can be printed and hung around the community. The process of designing an effective poster can be broken down into several distinct steps. These include:

1. Gathering inspiration: Anytime you are about to create something new, it’s always a good idea to first take some time and think of ideas you’ve seen in either real life or art that you really like. This can range from photographs and magazine clippings, to paintings and drawings by other artists in your field. The point here is not just to gather images, but also to gather inspiration from them. While you may not have the time (or even the skill) necessary to recreate something exactly as it was portrayed by another artist, looking at other people’s work will help inspire you and give you ideas on what types or styles of images and designs might look nice when put together with your own artwork.

2. Researching your audience: You should never design anything without knowing who it’s for.

One of the most important things that artists need to do is market their work. Art is a business and you have to treat it as such. For example, you should be sure to include keywords in all of your digital photographs that are appropriate for each individual piece of art. If you are using a picture of an animal, then use words like “animals” or “pet” or something similar. Including these words will help your art get found on search engines and make it easier for viewers to find what they are looking for.

The only way to have success in the art world is through hard work and dedication, but this doesn’t mean that you can’t make your work stand out with some simple tips and tricks. One easy way that you can do this is by designing your own posters. You can design these posters at home, or enlist the help of a professional designer if you feel like it would look better that way.

Also, remember that the posters don’t have to be just for your paintings, drawings or photographs. You can also use them for books, movies or any other type of art-related project that you may create down the line!

OK. I have to admit, I love art. I am a huge fan of The Smiths and Morrissey, and I love looking at his work. He has some really cool pieces that are just out of this world. Unfortunately, because his work is so recognized and also so many people like him and want to own a piece of his work, it can get quite expensive.

Of course there is always the option of buying one of his prints or posters (which are normally extremely affordable) but that’s not what we’re here to talk about today. If you want to take your art collection up a notch then you should definitely consider getting your very own custom poster made by an artist such as redd art.

How do you get your art noticed? The most obvious answer is to make it really, really good. This is true, but there’s an even easier way to get people looking at it: put it in front of them.

Telling people about your art won’t be enough, especially if you’re new or not well known. You have to put your work physically in front of them and let them know that it’s there. Otherwise, you’ll just be another blip on a long list of names, and people will ignore you.

There are a number of ways to do this. When I was first starting out, I had my own blog, but the most important thing was that I was able to offer free downloads of my art as part of subscribing to my newsletter. That way, they were getting something they wanted while also getting exposed to my art. Another option is to sell things like t-shirts or prints with your image on it, so when people wear or display your work, they’re letting everyone know who the artist is.
