The organization has announced its first-ever golf-for-a-cause initiative, Swing for Wishes, as part of its 25th anniversary celebration.
- Swing for Wishes will take place in November, and will benefit children with critical illnesses.
- Proceeds from the charity golf tournament will be used to fund the granting of wishes for these children.
- Interested participants can register solo for?5,000, while a group of four players can register for?17,000.
- Supporters can also register for a pass to the culminating night for only?1,250.
The event will also feature a social banquet, games, and more, bringing together participants, donors, volunteers, sponsors, and partners to celebrate Make-A-Wish Philippines’ 25 years of granting wishes.

Create for Wishes: Bringing Art and Fundraising Together
Create for Wishes is a new initiative launched by Make-A-Wish Philippines, in partnership with several local art studios and businesses, to promote art and fundraising while helping children with critical illnesses.
- Odangputik’s Terracotta Handbuilding Pottery Workshop was the first workshop in the series, where participants learned to create their own clay wares.
- The Watercolor Workshop hosted by SincerelyYen will take place on August 9 at the Bloga Creator Hub in The Mega Tower, Mandaluyong City.
- The Flower Dome Arrangement Workshop with Blooms Artisan will be held on August 23 at The Millas Cafe, Cubao, Quezon City.
- The Terrarium Making Workshop with Moss Escape will be on August 24 at Greyhound Cafe, Ayala Triangle Gardens, Makati City.
- The Crochet Workshop with Stitched by Mia and the Candle Painting Workshop with Kakayanin are also part of the series.
Registration fees for all workshops include art materials and kits required for the activities, with the remaining portion going directly to the organization’s efforts to grant wishes for children with critical illnesses.
