You may learn faster and better with a teacher, but that doesn’t necessarily mean you’ll get started sooner. And that’s what’s important, isn’t it? Wouldn’t any adult who has ever learned anything from a book say that the most important thing is getting started?

This book allows you to start playing guitar even if you are intimidated by the prospect of learning it. Because it focuses on chords and strumming patterns rather than finger positions, even total beginners can play chords within a few minutes of picking up this book! The chord shapes created by this book are also ideal for people with small hands or large hands or arthritic fingers.

Tired of taking lessons only to feel like your instructor is just teaching you how to practice? This book will give you immediate results, so that you can see and hear progress fast. Once you’ve practiced enough to master the basic chords and strumming patterns in this book, you’re ready to choose your own songs based on your own tastes and abilities! You won’t need a teacher after that!

You may be the kind of person who wants to learn as much as possible on their own before going to take lessons. In that case, this is the ideal way for you to supplement any other method of learning

I wish I could explain why learning to play guitar is so important. If you can’t already play it, you may not be able to imagine why someone would want to learn. But if you already do play, then there must be something about the guitar that drives people crazy — the way it looks, maybe, or the way it feels, or just the sheer possibility of what might come out of it.

This guide will show you how to get started playing — and how to keep at it until you’re really good. It’s written for adults who are learning on their own, but most of it applies no matter who your teacher is.

Terrific! Enjoy a lifetime of fun with a beautiful sounding instrument!

It’s not hard to learn the basics. You can browse through a few tutorial pages, find a nice resource or two, and be playing simple songs quickly. The problem is…

To get good at guitar you have to spend hours at it. And the result is worth it, but who has the time for that?

The answer is simple: If you want to get good at guitar faster then practice only what improves your ability to play guitar!

This site contains hundreds of video lessons that are all focused on teaching you how to play guitar better. Each video lesson on this site builds upon all previous ones, so if you’re serious about learning how to play guitar fast, then click here and start watching .

There is a lot of misinformation out there, it’s true. But most of the time it just seems to reflect different points of view. The other day I was on a forum where someone was saying that he thought that if you play guitar for years, you’ll get better and better, but if you stop for a few months and then start again, you’ll never be as good as before. And someone else said no — you could take a year off and then come back and be much better than before because your technique will have improved so much in the year off.

The person who made the claim about getting better with time had his own evidence to offer. He said he’d been playing for six months and could do things on the guitar that he couldn’t do before; therefore, obviously, with more practice he’d be able to do even more. But he had no evidence at all to support his claim about coming back after a break.

But at least he was trying to reason from evidence! That’s more than you can say for most people who repeat things they’ve heard without any idea whether they’re true or not. So I didn’t take issue with him.

“How long have you been playing?” I asked instead.

“Six months.”

Are you planning on learning how to play the guitar? Then you need to understand what it means to learn. Learning is not like acquiring information: we acquire information by looking it up, or having it presented to us, but we learn by doing.

I’m not a musician, but I’ve always been a fan of music. Even more: I enjoy making my own music. However, I’ve never been able to play the guitar.

I bought a guitar and learned how to play a few chords, but you need to practice every day if you want to make any real progress. Unfortunately, I found it hard to establish a consistent practice routine and soon lost all my progress.

And then I discovered voxel art. Voxel art is a form of 3D modelling which is especially appropriate for people who like creating things but don’t want to spend ages learning how to do it. All you need is some free software, such as MagicaVoxel or Qubicle Constructor, and enough patience to learn the basics of how it works.

The most important decision when starting voxel art is choosing an art style that suits you. For example, if you’re going for realism then you’ll probably have to put in many more hours than if you choose something simpler.

For me personally, voxel art has turned out to be an ideal way of learning the basics of 3D modelling which can then later be applied towards other styles such as realism or photorealism. It’s great
