The AuthenticA Series Lab is a program designed to develop and refine screenwriting skills for emerging African filmmakers. The lab is a partnership between the African Film Institute (AFI) and the American Film Institute (AFI). The lab will take place in Los Angeles, California, and will run for 12 weeks. Participants will receive mentorship from experienced filmmakers and industry professionals. They will also have access to resources and facilities at the AFI campus.
