Artists are a community, in the sense that they are united by vocation. But as a rule of thumb, you can’t just join them. If you want to be part of the artistic community, you have to create art first.

What does that mean? It means that in order to become one of us, you have to learn how this glorious profession works. You have to learn what we do and how we do it. You need to become an apprentice, or at least try to understand the craft from the inside.

Thing is, artists don’t want a bunch of amateurs showing up and trying to play their game without knowing how it works. They would get eaten alive! So I put together this blog in order to help you figure out how to become one of us, and in particular, how to make your own way in our world.

The reader will learn how to become a part of the art world, and what it takes to be accepted. I’ll be discussing what the art world is, why artists join such a community, and how they can make their mark in this community.

In order to understand the rules of the art world one has to understand that art is an individual’s expression of creativity. It takes a unique person with a unique voice to identify with his or her work and express themselves freely without being afraid of being judged. The same goes for aspiring artists. They need to find their passion and craft in order to share their skills with others. It’s not as simple as many people think it is though…

Artists need to show off their talents by creating new works and showing them off in galleries and other places where they will be seen. All of this takes a lot of talent, but also hard work, determination, drive, and risk taking. Overcoming fear is one of the most important parts of becoming a member of the artistic community because you have to believe in yourself and your abilities in order to make an impact on society.

Membership into this community isn’t easy. There are no qualifications other than skill level and willingness to be seen as an artist within this field,

So, you want to be a part of art community? Great! Everyone is welcome. I am going to tell you how it works.

First of all, the art community is huge, so it is important to remember that artists are people first. They are no different than anyone else. That said, they do have artistic personalities and there are certain traits which make them unique. Actually, it is not so much what they are like as what they are willing to do. Artists tend to be independent and a bit eccentric. They like to do things their own way and they don’t care what other people think.

Artists can be difficult people to get along with because of this independence and unconventionality. However, if you understand their special nature and communication style, you will find them easier to work with and understand.

Artists are the ultimate freelancers. While other freelancers might be able to sell their services through the Internet, artists can sell their goods in ways that other freelancers cannot. They can sell directly to the public, bypassing galleries, curators and art dealers. If they don’t want to go through a gallery or art dealer, they can sell directly to a collector.

Trying to reach out to the art community can seem daunting at first but with a little practice and patience, you will find your niche.

How You Can Join the Art Community

There are so many different types of artists out there and each type has a different way of finding opportunities for selling their work. Some artists network at artsy events while others use social media and advertise via websites. No matter what type of artist you are, there is an opportunity for you in the art community.

Advertising Your Work Online

If you want to join the art community then your first stop should be online where there is an abundance of opportunities for selling your work. The Internet has allowed for so much more exposure for artists. There are hundreds of sites where you can display your artwork like Art-O-Matic, Fine Art America and Artists Wanted. Sites like Etsy allow you to sell your

“Really? I can just submit my work to a gallery and they’ll take it?”

The best way to find out how to get started in the art community is by asking an artist. Don’t ask an art dealer, because the art dealers are not necessarily artists and don’t always have your best interests at heart.

Artists will tell you that you need to be part of a community. “Join the Art Club!” they say. But if you ask what kind of club it is and how much it costs, their enthusiasm quickly drops off. “Oh, it’s nothing official,” they say, as though that makes it better, not worse. And then they will warn you about how hard it is to get in, even though it’s not really that hard. They’ll tell you that there’s all these unwritten rules, but no one knows what they are, so don’t think you can just go ahead and do them all wrong on purpose or anything. They’ll tell you that everyone who gets in has a special magic talent and that you must have this talent too or it will automatically disqualify you from membership, though since no one seems able to identify this talent when they see it they clearly can’t test for it either, so what’s going

We are a creative community and we welcome new people. We do this for many reasons, but the main one is that it’s fun! We want to hang out with you and talk about what we do.

There are some basic guidelines that every member of our community must follow. These rules apply to everyone, including current members. If you don’t know what they are, they are listed here.

If you have any questions or need more information just ask any of us and we will tell you what you need to know. Everyone here is very friendly!

If you want to make art, it helps to understand what art is. Art is a community activity; there are no solitary artists.

Art is a way of making meaning together. It’s not an activity that can be done at a distance. It takes two people to make a work of art, and thousands or millions more to appreciate it.

Art is any attempt to bring order out of chaos—to impose form on experience.
