There are also some laws that apply only in certain parts of the country. In New York City it is illegal to sell flowers on Sunday. In Los Angeles it is not legal to sell cut flowers within a 600 foot radius of a church and it is illegal to sell them on Mother’s Day.

The packaging should be sturdy and leak-proof enough to prevent any escape of pollen or other contaminants upon handling or in the event of rough handling during shipping.
