There is no single way to create an artstation portfolio, but there are a few principles you should follow. The purpose of an artstation portfolio is to showcase your best artworks and display your artistic skills to potential clients. The following tips will help you build an impressive and professional looking portfolio.

Artstation Portfolio Tips:

1. Use Great Images

The images that you upload for your portfolio should be the best of your work. While some may argue that it’s better to include a wide variety of styles and techniques, in reality you want to focus on the artwork that will impress the client most.

2. Highlight Your Best Pieces

If you have several great works, consider focusing your portfolio on just one or two pieces at a time, rather than overwhelm them with too many great pieces. This will help keep their attention on the work you want them to see. You should also try linking to pieces within the body of your text if possible, so there’s not as much back-and-forth between the image and descriptions.

3. Showcase Your Style

Include artwork that showcases your style and artistic ability. This can be achieved by including samples of previous work (if it’s relevant) or just showcasing some of your best work overall.

I’m going to show you how to build an amazing artstation portfolio in a very short time, at the same time I’ll be explaining everything you need to know about creating such an account and getting the most out of it. I’ve been making art for many years and have learned a lot about it.

This site is great for artists who are just starting out and want to get their name out there as well as more experienced artists who want to increase their exposure and improve their portfolio.

I often go on this site to look at portfolios of other artists and learn from them. If you’re new here or not sure what kind of portfolio you want to create, then this is the perfect place to start.

There are a few things you will need:

1. A decent computer and some kind of graphics tablet. The graphics tablet is so that you can draw with your tablet pen instead of using a mouse. It makes it easier to draw nice lines and curves but if you don’t have one don’t worry because it’s still possible without one.

2. Photoshop or some other image editing software that doesn’t cost money, or programs like GIMP which are completely free (I recommend GIMP because it has most of the features that Photoshop has

Step 1: Have a vision of your online art portfolio. Like any successful business, you need to have a vision when creating an online portfolio. ArtStation is a great place to showcase your work and gain exposure. Plus, it’s free to join! But before you jump in, ask yourself what you want to create there and why.

Step 2: Create your artstation portfolio. Now that you know what you want to do, it’s time to get started on your new artstation portfolio! You can start by adding your work and linking back to it from your website or blog. Or if you have a blog, consider using that as an artstation profile instead.

Step 3: Write about your artstation portfolio. Once your artstation portfolio is up and running, it’s time to write about it! Use ArtStation as a tool for promotion by blogging about it — not as begging for attention but instead as an opportunity for exposure. Blog about how you use ArtStation and why you think other artists should try it out.

Step 4: Be active on ArtStation. Now that you’re creating an online artportfolio, don’t forget to share in the community! Like artwork, comment on other people’s work, add them as connections and watch the

So, you want to build an ArtStation Portfolio?

How do you do it?

This is how.

1. Create some art. You can’t just post a blank portfolio – there has to be something in it, even if it’s just a picture of your pencils and paper. Make enough stuff that you have something to put in the portfolio!

2. Make sure the work you’re posting is actually yours. Don’t post someone else’s work and claim it for yourself – this is bad form, and does more harm than good. (This goes for your friends’ work too.)

3. Use an interesting background for your pictures. The easiest way to do this is to take some shots of a skyline or forest or something – basically, anything that is not a boring background color will look better than plain white or black.

3a. If you don’t want to spend money on backgrounds, take a trip someplace with lots of cool stuff in the background – a city with skyscrapers, mountains, etc., even just a beach will look better than your bedroom wall.*

4. Fill up the rest of the space with text: say something about what went into the piece, where you were inspired by something or someone else

Artstation has a blog where artists can learn new skills, find tutorials on how to do things better, and get advice from other artists. Blogs are a great place to start if you’re looking for inspiration and want to see what others are doing. Another feature of the blog, which makes it such a great resource for artists, is that they regularly post in-depth interviews with successful artists in various fields. They ask them about how they got started in the industry and how they continue to grow as artists. If you’re interested in hearing more about these interviews check out this article by Artstation’s Content Manager Katarzyna Klimczak: https://www.artstation.com/blog/1/post/2017/10/9/interviews-in-depths-with-artists
