Why should you hire a professional photographer? Well, first of all you are “getting what you pay for”. We have been in this business long enough to know quite a bit about different types of photography and what each is good for.

As we have discussed before in other articles, there are 6 types of photography: family portraits, engagement or wedding photos, senior portraits, child or baby photos, high school senior photos and professional model portfolio photos.

And while we aren’t saying that all photographers do not know how to do everything (we certainly believe they can), the fact remains that most professional photographers specialize in one or two areas. As a professional photographer, I get asked a lot about whether photographers have rights to images they take. It is a very polarizing topic and I have met many people that say that their rights are violated on a regular basis by photographers.
