A few weeks ago I found an amazing deal on a set of four framed prints. The price was so low that I wondered if they were knock-offs or somehow defective. But the descriptions seemed to indicate that they were Hampton art, still in print and available.

The pieces are beautiful, better than I expected and without the flaws I had imagined. They have not arrived yet, but based on the photos on the page, I think they will be perfect for my needs.

A very good friend of mine, who is also a highly respected professional artist, was inspired to create this painting after visiting the Hampton’s home where she found the original set. The story behind the canvas set is, it was on display in front of the Hampton’s fireplace. She took that as the inspiration to create a reproduction of this masterpiece which she has now reproduced and is available for sale at her website.

My first impression upon seeing this piece was that it would look terrific in any home! It really is a beautiful work of art! I love how each piece has a different texture and color combination and how every piece plays off each other. This canvas set would be an excellent focal point to any room. Each one could be framed in a different way so there are endless ways to display them…or if you wanted you could frame them all the same. I think they’d look great grouped together with some other artwork!

This piece of art was purchased for personal use. I have a home office and I am very pleased with the way it looks and feels like it is part of the decor. I have received many compliments from family, friends and work associates about it.

It is easy to forget that even the most expensive works of art, including some of the most popular paintings in the world, are mass produced. When we see a million-dollar painting on the wall of an art gallery, what we are seeing is not a unique object but a small part of an industrial process. That is not necessarily a bad thing.

Assume that you have some money to spend on art, and that you want to buy a painting by a well-known artist. You go to an art gallery and find that they have exactly one painting by that artist for sale. It is nice enough, but it’s just not quite what you had in mind.

And then you see another painting by the same artist hanging in another room, except this one is different from the first one: it has more colors in it, or an odd shape, or something a little unusual about it. This second painting is clearly part of the same mass-produced process as the first one; indeed, if you look carefully at the first one, you’ll find that it has some slight differences from the second one. But if you hung them side by side, no one would notice the differences between them.

But this second painting really captures your imagination. You want it
