Yes, yes, I know Animal Crossing: New Horizons is scheduled for release on Tuesday. I’m not going to tell you about the sheer beauty of the game, or how it is the most exciting thing in life. I am going to tell you about five neat things to do in the game that don’t pertain to just breaking in and collecting furniture.
Thing one: change your clothes. Yes, I know, this isn’t something that is necessarily new, but there are a lot more options now that make it easier than ever! You can be really creative with what you wear!
Thing two: get a pet. Now you have even more customization options! Go with a classic dog or cat, or choose something like a hamster or rabbit. The choice is yours!
Thing three: visit villager’s homes. In New Horizons, you can visit villagers’ homes during their coffee hours (which are 9am-10am and 5pm-6pm). You can also go into their houses at anytime by using the doorbell, just like before. Some villagers will ask you for favors such as delivering mail for them (others will just ask for presents).
