As one of the most popular artists on ByArt, Jake has won over our customers with his talent. “Jake is an amazing artist,” said one customer. “He was able to capture my vision perfectly and make it come alive.” Another added, “I don’t know how he does it, but every time I give him a concept he turns out something better than I could have ever imagined.”

Born and raised in Los Angeles, Jake began his artistic journey at a very young age. “Ever since I was a kid I was drawing,” he told us. “I loved drawing so much that I would spend hours upon hours honing my craft.” He continued, “I think the reason why I love drawing so much is because I’m able to express myself through my art.”

After high school Jake went on to study at the University of California Santa Barbara where he majored in Art Education. It was there that Jake became inspired by his professor, Dr. Williamson who helped him develop his

My name is Jake and I am the front end developer at by art. I manage the websites, logos, graphics and all other things that need to be made for a website. My job is not an easy one. It takes a lot of time to get a website just right and even more time to create an amazing logo for the company’s brand.

Telling you how I got my job is a pretty long story but I’ll try to give you the short version. I had been working at another advertising agency as a software engineer when by art hired my company to do their website. While working on the site we became friends with the owner of by art. He thought that they needed someone in house who was good with graphics so he offered me a job.*

By art is a very good place to work at. The people are friendly and they treat each other like family. Everyone works together and helps each other out when problems arise. Even though there are many people around me, it still feels like I’m working alone because everyone has their own responsibilities within the company but still helps me get mine done in a timely manner when it comes down to crunch time.*

I’ve only been working here for about 8 months now but from what I can tell this is going
