Voxel art is a type of 3d art that utilizes voxels. Voxels are essentially volumetric pixels, where each pixel has a Z axis, the depth of the effect. To get an idea of what this looks like, check out the image below:

The voxel aspect is used to make the images look smooth and realistic while still maintaining a high level of detail. So what makes voxel art so popular?

Well, it’s pretty simple really…it’s something different. It’s something that hasn’t been done before. This means that it’s constantly evolving in its own way; there isn’t one specific method or style to follow. Theres no right or wrong way to do it, only what you think looks good visually. You can make whatever you want!

A lot of people don’t know how to make voxel art, but I’m here to show you just how easy it is!

The art of Voxel Art can be traced back in time to the early 1980s when it was first used in video games like “Kaboom!” and “Lode Runner”. The art form gained popularity in the mid-1990s and is still very popular today.

Though the term, “Voxel Art” was coined by Manfred Trenz, voxels have been used in many forms of entertainment such as movies, music videos, commercials and more. The word “voxels” comes from combining the words “Volume” and “Pixels”. But what exactly are they?

Voxels are 3D pixels that were first rendered on a computer by IBM in 1985. The term voxel comes from combining the words volume and pixel, together. They are used to be able to depict volumetric objects on-screen with greater realism.

The first game ever to feature Voxel Art was called “Kaboom!” which was released in 1982 for the Atari 2600 gaming system. It featured a main character who had to clear a screen of blocks using a limited amount of dynamite.

In 1992, another game called “Liero” was released for Microsoft Windows. In it’s sequel, the player was able to

Tetris Attack is one of the earliest known voxel based games. It was released in Japan on June 20, 1994. It was developed by Intelligent Systems and published by Nintendo. The game was never released in Europe or North America. A port to the Super Nintendo Entertainment System was also planned, but it was cancelled due to the impending release of a sequel, Panel de Pon: Nanpure Perfect Collection for the SNES.*

Voxel Art can be created using many different programs. Some examples would be Minecraft and Voxel Editor for making 3D voxel creations, and Magica Voxel for making 2D voxel creations.*

Using Voxel art is a great way to get your ideas out there, because it is so easy in comparison to most of the other 3d modeling methods. With a Voxel art package, you can make anything with a few clicks of your mouse.

You can actually see what your creation will look like in 3d before you even begin to model it. This is especially helpful when you are designing something that has never been designed before. Your work will be one-of-a-kind, and there is no need to worry about making various shapes and colors fit together.

The Voxel art system is also very user friendly, and it allows you to do some really neat things that would be much harder to do otherwise. You can adjust the colors of your model after you are done creating it and you can change details without starting over from scratch.

With this kind of software, you don’t have to worry about messing up – if you make a mistake, it’s easy enough to fix. The software will allow you to undo your last move if necessary, or redo something you just did by simply clicking on the undo button. If you want to change the look of an object, all you have to do is select that object and click on the edit

At its core, Voxel art is about creating a scene made entirely of cubes. These cubes have varying values for the Red, Green and Blue channels in the RGB color space. All of these values are set to random in order to generate each cube. The formula used to calculate each cube’s RGB value is:

(random number between 0 and 255)^3 + floor(random number between 0 and 255) + (floor(random number between 0 and 255))^2 + (random number between 0 and 255)

The formula used to calculate the brightness of a given voxel is:

(brightness of the Red channel) * (the sum of all the Red channel values in the cube) +

(brightness of the Green channel) * (the sum of all the Green channel values in the cube) +

(brightness of the Blue channel) * (the sum of all the Blue channel values in the cube)

Voxels are the 3D equivalent of pixels. A pixel is a picture element, while a voxel is a volumetric picture element. It’s like comparing a regular digital photo to one that includes depth.
