Academy of Art University (AAU) is a private, accredited university offering undergraduate and graduate degree programs in more than 50 major areas of study including: architecture, art, interior design, landscape architecture, business, education, film and video, fashion, music and entertainment management.

The university is composed of three colleges: the College of Architecture + The Arts (COTA), the College of Business & Design (CBAD) and the School of Education (SED). Additionally the university has four centers: Academy for Academic Excellence (AAA), the Center for Entertainment & Sports Management (CESM), the Center for Media Design (CMED) and the Technology Management Center (TMC). The university also has two campuses: one in San Francisco and one in Sacramento.

Academy of Art University, a private university in San Francisco, CA, provides degree programs in areas including fine art, design, fashion and entertainment. It also offers certificate programs in film and television writing and production, game art and game design. Classes are offered in person or online.

The university was founded in 1929 as the Academy of Advertising Art. It was renamed to the Academy of Art College in 1949 and again to Academy of Art University in 2003. The institution has three locations: the main campus is located at One Washington Square in San Francisco; the Los Angeles campus is located at the Walt Disney Concert Hall; and a third location is located at 37th Avenue North in Seattle.

Academy of Art University has an open admissions policy. It does not require applicants to submit SAT or ACT scores or any other test scores for admission consideration. In addition, students are not required to submit an application fee or essay.

This is a story I’ve wanted to share with you for some time now. It’s the story of how I became a successful artist, and it begins at Academy of Art University.

I started attending this school in 2005, when I was 18 years old. You could say that Academy of Art was the first real decision I’d made in my life, and though this may sound strange, it wasn’t an easy one for me to make. You see, even though I had been drawing my whole life – from the time I could hold a pencil to when I had mastered every medium you can imagine – art wasn’t something that came naturally to me. In fact, back in high school when all the other kids were talking about what they wanted to major in after graduation…all I knew is that I didn’t want to be an “artist.”

Academy of Art University (commonly known as Academy of Art or AAU) is a privately owned for-profit art school in San Francisco, California. The school has two campuses, one in San Francisco and the other in Sacramento, and offers bachelor’s degrees at its San Francisco campus. The school also offers master’s degrees at both of its campuses.

The institution was founded in 1929 by Richard S. Stephens and is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). It was formerly accredited by the National Association of Schools of Art and Design (NASAD), which was disbanded in 2014, and has been accredited since 1969 by WASC.
