I do not care whether anyone reads these posts or not. I write them for myself and out of habit.

When I started writing this blog, I intended it to be about the history of African American art. But over time, it has become less and less about that topic and more and more about my own experiences with creating art and learning how to make my own paintings. This is because the process of making art is what interests me most.

I do not know how good or bad my paintings are; they are the best I can do with what talent I have, but they are not done perfectly by any means, nor will they ever be perfect until the day that I die, if even then. It takes time to get better at painting, and you cannot hurry the process. If you try to rush it, you will just burn out from the effort and wind up back where you started from before you even got started. You must take your time, learn from your mistakes, study art books

These paintings and sculptures are widely available at many different price points; depending on the popularity of the artist, a piece may cost hundreds or thousands of dollars—or even more! African American art is a type of art that has been developed by African Americans, both in the United States and abroad. Aside from its use as a general descriptive term, contemporary African-American art is a type of postmodern art; it also refers to art made by African Americans from the 17th century to the present (including works by people born in Africa who have immigrated to the United States), and can also refer to any art created by black people from Latin America or the Caribbean.

Touissant Loverti was an early Haitian painter of African descent, who became active in France. The notable painters Paul Cézanne and Amedeo Modigliani were two artists that were particularly important influences on Guillaume Seznec, who was active both in France and in Mexico.

The Harlem Renaissance, which flourished during the 1920s and 1930s, was a great period for African-American artists who lived and worked in New York City. Perhaps the most famous artist associated with this movement is Archibald Motley Jr.. However, there were many others active at this time including Richmond Barthé, Aaron Douglas, Palmer Hayden, Hale Woodruff and Augusta Savage. Art is one of the most noticeable and powerful aspects of many different cultures. African art is no exception, as it has been present in the arts community almost since the beginning of time.

Though African art was once considered primitive, due to its simple and raw nature, many people now consider it a strong and beautiful part of society, and it provides a great deal of inspiration for artists all over the world.

There are many different types of African art that can be found today. Most notably are sculptures, masks, and paintings.

African art has been created for thousands of years and continues to be an important aspect of culture even after many modern advancements were made. This is because it opened up new doors for artists, who were able to create their own pieces based off of the African art that came before them.

Some artists have even taken this knowledge and began creating their own styles based on these ancient traditions.

Of course not all art from Africa focuses on people or animals; there are also a wide variety of beautiful landscape paintings that provide great examples of what African art is all about.

It is sometimes referred to as African-American art in order to distinguish it from the wider international phenomenon of modern Western art.

The term “African art” is mostly used in the West where it originated; so most works are not truly representative of African culture as they were produced by African artists living in Europe or North America. However, this painting has since been proven by some to be a forgery by European artists who tried to pass it off as an example of African art.
