I am Trevor Henderson a Artist based in London. I am passionate about art, contemporary art and fine art. My blog illustrates my passion for painting, I have been painting for over 15 years.

My paintings are inspired by many things in life, the most important being my family. My wife and children are my main inspiration and they drive me to create paintings that are creative, original and diverse.

I love to paint portraits of people as much as landscapes of places so i am happy to take commissions from both individuals and businesses including hotels and restaurants. All paintings can be commissioned at very competitive rates. I will also paint anything you wish to your exact specifications.

Trevor Henderson is a painter whose paintings are in many private and public collections. His paintings are held by the National Portrait Gallery, The Royal Society of Marine Artists, The Royal Society of Portrait Painters, The Guild of Aviation Artists, The National Trust and many other private collections. He has exhibited in both solo and mixed exhibitions at galleries including the Redfern Gallery, London, the Mall Galleries, London and the Ashmolean Museum, Oxford. Trevor Henderson is a member of the Society of Equestrian Artists and the Royal Society of Marine Artists. He has been a visiting tutor for the last 3 years for the RSA in London and an invited tutor for the last 24 years for St Martin’s School of Art in London.

From 1984 to 1995 Trevor Henderson was Visiting Tutor at St Martin’s School of Art teaching Life Painting, Anatomy Drawing and Figure Sculpture. During this time he also taught Life Painting to students at Sotheby’s College and Central St Martins College of Art & Design. In 1989 he was invited to teach Life Drawing to students at the Slade School of Fine Art. He has taught workshops at Winchester School of Art, Maidstone College of Art, Exeter University’s Academy of Fine Art & Design

I have been a fine art painter for 25 years and have exhibited in London, including with the Royal Institute of Oil Painters.

My work has been acquired by collectors worldwide, including some of the world’s top corporate collectors.

I am based in London and run my own gallery. I also exhibit across Europe and am represented in Denmark, Italy and Germany.

I sell paintings directly to private collectors, banks and corporations as well as through leading galleries in Europe, the USA and Asia.

I have been a freelance illustrator for over 25 years. I specialize in creating contemporary paintings with influences from the impressionist, post impressionist and modern art movements. My work is created from my imagination, however some of them are inspired by people, places and events I have experienced.
