I am researching a new paper on the importance of cleaning in your workspace. As I read more and more articles, I will be adding them to this blog. You can find the complete list of articles on my other blog:

I spend about 50% of my time in my kitchen, whether it be cooking or cleaning. I am a messy cook and I always have been. While growing up, I would run to the kitchen when it was time for dinner because that’s where the action was. My mother, sister and I would always be elbow deep in suds while my father watched TV in the living room.

The kitchen has always been the place I feel most comfortable and at ease. In fact, it is a space that holds so many memories for me that when I walk into it, sometimes I have no idea what century I’m in.

I know you are reading this thinking there must be some secret to all of this, but there isn’t. This is just a blog about cleaning your kitchen because I do not want to give you any unrealistic illusions about how easy or glamorous that task can be – even with the help of a dishwasher.

Truly, how we keep our kitchens reflects how we feel about ourselves and our lives.

Cleaning is an essential part of creating a workspace in your kitchen. However, cleaning will not be enough to keep your kitchen clean for long periods of time. You need to perform maintenance on your kitchen often.

Cleaning is quick and easy, but maintaining a clean kitchen is more difficult. However, maintenance of the kitchen is important in preventing the spread of germs and other harmful organisms from one surface to another. By performing maintenance, you will be able to keep all surfaces free from harmful germs and organisms that can spread quickly if not attended to.

TIP:To prevent cross-contamination between your cooking surfaces, you should place mats around them and make sure they are not touching when you are using both at the same time. By placing dividers between your cooking surfaces, you will be able to avoid this problem. By avoiding cross-contamination, you are also improving the quality of your food and making it safer for consumption by others.

So, as you may have noticed, I’ve been working on my messy kitchen. This is a project that has been in the works for more than a year. And it’s not done yet. It’s one of those projects where you get started and then don’t make much progress for a while because there’s so much to do that it feels overwhelming. But you clean a little every day and sometimes you look around and think, wow, this is looking really good!

And then something happens and you get discouraged and distracted and nothing gets done for a while. So I’m not quite all the way through with this project yet, but I’m getting there. And I’m glad about that because last weekend I attended my friend Amy’s wedding shower at her house (that’s what prompted me to clean the place up).

So here are some before-and-after photos of one corner of our kitchen, plus some notes on why cleaning matters.

Why cleaning matters: A messy kitchen can be distracting when you’re trying to cook something or find something or just relax while doing nothing in particular. And even beyond just being aesthetically unpleasing, there are real costs associated with it: dirty dishes can harbor bacteria if they aren’t

If you love to bake and cook, you know how important it is to have all the tools in your kitchen be clean and working correctly, especially if you are a perfectionist. If the tools in your kitchen aren’t working correctly, then your whole day can be ruined by having to clean and re-lubricate them.

The kitchen is the heart of any home. It is a place where the family comes to gather around meals, celebrate special occasions and spend quality time together. It is also a place where we store food, prepare meals and do other activities that involve a lot of dirt and grime.

The kitchen sink is particularly prone to getting dirty since it is used for so many different purposes. The sink should be cleaned thoroughly once or more every week to avoid buildup of dirt and grime that could lead to clogging of drains and cause foul odors in your home.

There are numerous ways of keeping the kitchen sink clean. You have the choice of scrubbing the sink by hand or using a cleaner designed for this purpose. Both methods have their pros and cons but it all depends on your personal preference on how you want to keep your sink clean. Here are some tips on how to keep your sink clean using both methods:

Scrubbing By Hand

The first thing you need to do is remove any food particles that may be stuck on the drain or in the faucet. You can do this by pouring hot water over it and then scrubbing it with a stiff brush dipped in baking soda or salt. After that, you can pour baking soda or salt over the
