What is it about the museum of modern art that makes people want to go there? Is it because they want to see some of the most inspiring pieces of modern art?

The MoMA is located in Midtown Manhattan, and it has a sister museum in Queens. It was founded in 1929, by the Museum of Modern Art Inc., with funds from the Rockefeller family, as well as some of America’s leading industrialists.

The MoMA exhibits collections of modern and contemporary art, including works by Picasso, Andy Warhol, Matisse, and Klee. The museum has always been known for its collection of Cubist works by Pablo Picasso and Georges Braque. However, it has also grown to become one of the premier museums for non-Western art, with a particularly good collection of Islamic art.

The Museum of Modern Art, founded in 1929 in New York City, was the first museum dedicated to modern art. Its collection includes more than 150,000 works of painting, sculpture, photography, architecture and design, as well as film and video. The museum’s holdings reflect the many movements that make up modernism: Cubism, Expressionism, Fauvism, Futurism, abstract and conceptual art.

Narrowing down a list of just ten pieces is nearly impossible; there are so many that have touched my heart. Luckily for us though, I won’t be choosing by my own personal favorites today; instead I’ll be looking at pieces that have inspired others. I might not always agree with the choices made by others but they’re all fascinating because they inspire the viewer in a different way than the rest of the collection.

Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) was opened in 1929, and today it is one of the most popular museums in New York City. It presents a broad range of modern and contemporary artworks created since mid-19th century. The museum’s collection consists of more than 150,000 objects (including paintings, sculptures, drawings and photographs) by artists such as Henri Matisse, Salvador Dalí, Pablo Picasso, Andy Warhol and many more. MoMA has now become the largest repository for modern and contemporary art in the entire world. This article will introduce you some of the most inspirational pieces of modern art from this amazing collection.

I was lucky enough to visit the Museum of Modern Art in New York City. I visited it with my husband and had a fabulous time viewing all of the pieces. I love art and I’m always amazed by the pieces that I see, so it’s no surprise that I had an amazing experience at MOMA.

Modern art is a wide term used to describe art produced during the period extending roughly from the 1860s to the 1970s, and characterized by a departure from traditional styles of representation and techniques of painting and sculpture.

The movement was particularly associated with the European modernism art movement, which included visual art, literature, architecture and design.

Some examples of modernist art are Wassily Kandinsky’s painting “Concerning the Spiritual in Art”, Marcel Duchamp’s “Fountain” or Andy Warhol’s Campbell’s Soup can series. These pieces are considered to be some of the most influential artworks created during that time.

**Ai Weiwei: Dropping a Han Dynasty Urn

Ai Weiwei is a Chinese artist, activist and film producer. He has been instrumental in pushing for greater political freedom in China. His work has been exhibited at the Tate Modern and the Hirshhorn Museum in Washington DC. Ai Weiwei was born in Beijing in 1957. He studied sculpture and architecture at the Beijing Fine Art Academy from 1978 to 1983, where he graduated with honors. In 1994 he opened his own studio in Beijing.

**In 2006, Ai Weiwei designed the Bird’s Nest stadium for the 2008 Olympics. He was one of the few Chinese artists to speak out against the government’s policies at that time. In 2009, Ai Weiwei was detained by police authorities for 81 days without charge after helping citizens document an earthquake that killed almost 70,000 people. As a result of this ordeal, Ai Weiwei relocated to Berlin, Germany in 2011 where he currently resides and continues to work actively on his art projects that are extremely critical of Chinese government policies.
