In today’s world, technology dominates: it pervades our culture and influences virtually every aspect of life. And yet for all its prominence, technology is rarely defined or discussed in any meaningful way.

This blog aims to change that. Here we explore how art and technology work together, often in very unexpected ways, to create new cultural forms. In addition to posts by myself, we host contributions from a variety of notable writers and artists, who share their thoughts on what it means to live in an increasingly technological society. We hope you’ll join us on this journey into the unknown!

This blog aims to give an inside look into the world of art and technology. It is written from my perspective as a practicing artist working with computers and as a researcher who has spent the last 8 years working in the field of computational creativity. I will try to write short pieces including images, videos and or audio that relate directly to my work or areas I am interested in exploring.

Finally, this blog may also reflect on my personal experiences with art, technology and life in general.

In 2011, the relationship between art and technology has become a lens that focuses the conversation on design, development, and culture. It’s also a great excuse for writers like myself to share their thoughts about technology with a global audience.

I am an active artist in the medium of photography and I have been working in this medium for about 7 years. I have had two major art exhibits, and I am still actively making art in the form of photographs. My passion and curiosity for the world around me, leads me to explore the world through a lens. Art is something that is deeply personal to everyone, but what I do know is that it comes from a place within yourself that needs to be expressed. My goal with this blog is to share my work with others, to share my passion, and hopefully to spark someone’s interest or curiosity in my art at some point.
