If you are a collector of art, you can’t just pick up a magazine and find out what the best paintings are. Even when you know the style of painting that you like, there are still many artists who produce paintings in those styles. So how do you go about finding the best work that is out there?

Well, first, there is no exact science to this. There are many different types of art and there are many different ways that they can be viewed. You have to really understand the artist and their style as well as their subject matter before you can even begin to make an educated guess at which pieces they have done that will rank as better than others.

You have to know exactly what it is that you want in a painting before you can start looking for one. If you want something small or large, abstract or figurative, colorful or muted? Are there any specific colors that you want? How much detail do you want? Do you prefer landscapes to cityscapes?

Do not be fooled by how much a piece cost when it was sold either. This has no relevance on how much the piece is worth. The goal is to get good work at a good price, not overpay for something simply because someone else did.

I started this blog to answer some of these questions and provide other people with the help I wish I’d had when I was starting out buying paintings. I’ll also post about exhibitions and new pieces that have come onto the market recently so you can stay up-to-

In the 21st century, everyone is an artist. With the proper tools, it’s easy to make a painting or a sculpture. In fact, you don’t even need technical knowledge; you can learn how to create art in a few minutes on the Internet.

Julia Roberts wears a little red dress from a movie that came out 20 years ago and suddenly every woman in America has to have some version of it.
